I never played the series but recently watched a multi-hour contemplation of the mainline games. The graphics are very on brand and i think it could be even better with two players!
Honestly, I'm not too concerned about the views. I just love playing these games and making the videos! It means a lot to hear from everyone who enjoys them!
It's amazing how "Monday Night Combat"is that ahead of its time. In terms of visuals and charming class system. You can even play as a giant mech. Interesting stuff, i can see that being a blast online but I'm satisfied knowing a lot of people were having fun with it that summer haha
Just here to say Monday Night Combat was a great multiplayer game when the servers were still working. It's a shame you didn't get to play it when it was relevant for 1-2 years.
What a great lineup. I got every one of them but Castlevania and Hydro thunder were the two I enjoyed most. To this day I want more multiplayer castlevania.
I sunk so many hours into Castlevania HD when it came out and I've sunk even more when they made it backwards compatible and I still boot it up from time to time because its so fun. All the games in the 2010 summer of arcade were amazing yet I didn't play Monday Night Combat but i have a buddy who played it to death when it released. Love your videos.
I'm glad you enjoy the videos! Castlevania HD seems to get a lot of love which is great to hear! It feels like a game that could be forgotten, but I'm happy its found an audience.
I bought all of these when I was younger and put 100s of hours in Monday night combat. Having a third person wave shooter and a moba in one game was pretty unique. Also having that tv show announcer style made it fun. I wish you got to play it back in the day it was a blast.
I truly miss the summer of acarde; although for me, it was winter. I played them all. I loved so many. Deadlight was a highlight, but pretty much all of them were good. You can play Limbo on your phone now.
Played Haromony of Despair for a month ago or so with another one and it was fun. I think solo it can be very frustrating at first.. Also Love Hydro Thunder Hurricane :) And the Lara Croft games were ok too :)
We got Symphony of the Night completely recreated on Xbox for 1/100th of its PSX or Saturn copy pricetags and then we got... Black and white and walk to the right.
What the og xbox and 360 were doing during their day was way cooler than what Nintendo and Sony were doing at the time, and I'm tired of pretending that it wasn't.
I remember some people didn't like the Lara Croft game because it was such a change from the normal Tomb Raider games. But compared to most of the new games we get nowadays (games in general not the new Tomb Raider games), it's a masterpiece.
Damn I miss when xbox had quality control. Almost every arcade game that came out was relevant or incredible and you had the indie game at a lower price that usually were still good, or 1$ lol. Now 9 out of 10 arcade games is a overpriced slop that cost almost the price of a full game back in the days
Honestly, this whole channel makes me kinda sad at what Xbox has become these days. It reminds me of how great the Xbox and Xbox 360 were. They were packed with fantastic exclusives from third and first party devs, AAA games and smaller projects. Xbox had everything. Now it just seems to be mediocre release after mediocre release. God I wish they could turn it around.
Game history is important. I’m happy to hear people are logging it
Hydro thunder hurricane is one of my favorite 360 games
It's one of my favorite games of all time and my favorite racing -game
Playing Castlevania Harmony of Despair with friends back then was so much fun !
I never played the series but recently watched a multi-hour contemplation of the mainline games. The graphics are very on brand and i think it could be even better with two players!
I remember boosting the achievement where you beat the boss with everyone being a skeleton. That was crazy.
Love these videos covering the summer of arcade promotions. Dunno how well they do in views, but I hope you keep making them

@@campxbox that’s great to hear, I look forward to the next ones! Keep up the good work, best Xbox-focused channel on RUclips imo
monday night combat was such a underrated gem
It's a shame there is nothing that scratches that itch like Monday night combat did
Glad someone said it
@@HaLoFreQ2000must have been a lot of fun
@@DeafCope yes!
Summer of Arcade was such a cool idea. Battlefield 1943, Limbo, Blacklight, etc.
Harmony of Despair is a very cool take of 2D castlevania with some expanded metroidvania take! Here’s hoping to be in another Castlevania collection!

Yeah I remember it being a big deal that summer. I think it still has a group on Discord that gets together and plays.
Summer of Arcade was such a great promotion. I played Limbo and Guardian of Light back in the day and enjoyed both of them.
Aah Limbo…my teenager brain was not ready for that one
I never played Limbo but I like how it does so much with the greyscale. And those are some pretty scary puzzles!
We were living in the best era. And we didn’t know it
Just here to say Monday Night Combat was a great multiplayer game when the servers were still working. It's a shame you didn't get to play it when it was relevant for 1-2 years.
Yeah I was disappointed by that because it was great to play alone, but was probably incredible online.

Banger after banger
Back when we had good things
I truly miss the summer of acarde; although for me, it was winter. I played them all. I loved so many. Deadlight was a highlight, but pretty much all of them were good. You can play Limbo on your phone now.
Castlevaina and Tomb Raider can’t go wrong
I love castlevania hd
we had it so good
I recall MNC being the trendy “I swear I’m not addicted to CoD” RUclipsr game that was played for about a week. Probably deserved a better fate.
I loved Monday Night Combat.
RIP Summer of Arcade, stopped for no reason
Monkey Island remake came out that summer still have it on my 360
Played Haromony of Despair for a month ago or so with another one and it was fun. I think solo it can be very frustrating at first.. Also Love Hydro Thunder Hurricane :) And the Lara Croft games were ok too :)
Yeah it's a game greatly helped by its multiplayer.
Dope

A thrift shop near me has a ton of 360 games. Should I also collect the 360?
Up to you, but there are a lot of great games!
MNC was dope and its sequel too. Too bad it loss relevance and has never comeback for who knows what reason with all the 3rd person mobas today
What the og xbox and 360 were doing during their day was way cooler than what Nintendo and Sony were doing at the time, and I'm tired of pretending that it wasn't.
okay? has nothing to do with anything, period. go seek help

Man. Remember when hames used to be fun
