Welcome to my channel! In this video, I'll take you through the process of restoring my 10-year-old audio recorder. When I decided to use it again, I discovered that the microphone protectors had deteriorated over time. Rather than throwing it away, I decided to give it a new lease on life with some modern technology.
First, I used my 3D scanner to create a digital model of the recorder. Then, using Fusion360, I designed new microphone protectors to replace the old, degraded ones. Finally, I printed the new parts using my 3D printer. The result is a fully functional audio recorder that's ready for many more years of use!

The scanner I have is the cr scan Ferret, and for objects that are about 8*8*8 cm (8cm cubed) up to the size of a human body, that's a pretty good scanner for a small budget.
When you go buy a scanner you must really check the specs and compare them with what you want to scan. For the things I do, the Ferret was the best choice because I can use my cellphone as a computer to do the scanning. This means I don't have to use it with a computer, which is also possible, and for me that was a must.
I am not over experienced with scanners, but I hear from many people that the Creality line of scanner are among the best for a small budget.
If you would like a scanner for small and big things, you could look for the cr scan otter. I have no experience with that scanner, but it's specs are better for very small things, while it's still possible to scan big things, even bigger than my scanner can. I don't know if it can be battery and phone operated though.
