She’s young so she shouldn’t be shamed and deserves better but at the same time there’s no reason why she should be acting like this without fear of consequences cuz it kinda seems she was neglected but spoiled at the same time. Spoiled kids turn out this way too. She literally had 100s of kids fearing for there life and disrespecting family members. My mom till this day is bipolar and VERYYYY on edge and I have to walk on eggshells around her but I know if I screamed like this then that’s my fault but usually when kids end up like this it’s from narcissistic parents who act like there sunshine in public but are actually very manipulative but at the same time if you have a roof over ur head and still got clothes and food then that’s more then enough and only kids who really been through the tough stuff as kids will understand that you gotta keep ur mouth shut cuz you will be put out on the streets in a matter of minutes with this crazy attitude. It’s 75% the girl is in the right cuz she deserves better but she needs to learn to have respect.

I have watched a bunch af Dr.Phil videos now, and I think, whenever it is about children, these children are used to being in control. Their parents must have done everything their children demanded, and when sent to therapeutic facility, the children experience for the very first time that someone else is in control over them. Shocking. When children are in control and sort of remote control their parents, the never see them as independent persons, human beings, that make their own decisions. Thus these children don't develop empathy. They never feel that the other person is just like them, having emotions, feeling, thoughts and so on. This is dangerous.

@@Zimtbiss1 Fair enough to be cautious in your own personal view. I have definitely seen way more than enough. Teens truly bullying their parents and suffering from some sort of antisocial or even psychotic disorder are unable to clearly articulate their emotions, which this young woman admirably does, despite the not-subtle bullying and dismissal from her mother (not to mention the grotesque charade of her mother forcing a reality tv show confrontation when her daughter begged her for mutual counseling). This is a clear gaslighting ploy by Mom to bully and also reinforce her bizarre worldview of victimhood.

I understand her from the bottom of my heart. Man, I started sobbing when she started yelling at her mom. She has mixed feelings because she is getting mixed signals from mom all the time. Yes, mom is around but at the same time she's not because she doesn't listen. Destoni can't trust this woman with her feelings..I yelled at my mom the exact same way. All you want for them is to listen and see your pain and you feel so helpless when they don't...hence the rage. I got borderline Personality Disorder from all this invalidating I had to deal with and from what i am seeing, destoni is a very sensitive girl and might develop that Disorder too, if she hasn't already. I hope she'll find people who don't betray her emotionally.

Agree with all of this ❤ she is trying to make her feel how hurt she is, the mom is cold and shut off so the more she doesn’t get any sign of emotion/love from her she goes harder with trying to verbally hurt her, gets louder until she explodes. A parent (or partner for that matter) can be equally damaging being like this as being angry
