Just wanna say thanks to Nephew for this. Im the guy at 19:19 and im at plat 5 now. I tweaked a bit of my gameplay and adding more schmix on wake up options like adding grab or shimmying like neph suggested. So far its helped quite a lot. To add too is the LIGHT DP change helped wonders. 🙏
Honestly Neph you would be a really good coach the way you explain things is simple and easy to understand. I would pay for coaching from you honestly.
Guys, send in replays where you lose, lol. Getting tips when you're truly struggling is way, way, way more helpful than getting small tips on games you've won anyway.
Also: if you’re asking someone to review matches, try to include losses - ideally close ones. It’s easier for the reviewer to find faults and thus give advice on. It’s similar to Nephew saying to be specific in your questions to him and other players - hard to help you solve a problem if they can’t tell what the problem is.
33:30 While watching the video I was formulating what I would ask you... and it was SUPER surreal to see Sage ask exactly what I would've. Guiles and Sims seem especially hard to deal with for my blanka. Also sage uses the same colours as me even
Hey Nephew, new Sub and been watching since sf6 release. Just watching your content has been a huge help and it's cool to see you give back to the community like this.
i feel like the first aki didn’t backroll enough, she could’ve easily escaped more pressure than she thought. also, she can get a guaranteed safe jump in the corner
Good you are watching his stuff. Thing is tho, once you learn your problems, only time will actually grant progress. I had a lot of the knowledge early on in sfv, but actually both remembering in game and executing when remembering were their own challenges. Wanna conclude by saying that is all assuming you have knowledge enough. If not, I recommend you play through the entire tutorial. Good luck have fun.
I play Ken how tf do u beat chun li fireball into drive rush pressure. Additionally her walk speed is ridiculous I feel like I can’t play neutral against her at all everytime I get within range of her she is able to clip my legs into drive rush combo
that first ryu vs the aki student not confirming into actual combos is a bit tilting as a ryu main But as a true Ryu player they had better fundamentals which is what matters for RYU believers
Question out to anyone who thinks they know, had a guy reacting to my sweeps with DI 100% success rate all either 3 or 4 frames. Does that sound legitimate? Since they were different I think it could be human, but bro 50-66 ms reaction with perfect consistency is ridiculous.
I have a very specific question. I play zangief, and when i wake up, people are just crouching lp me. Besides blocking does zangief have some move i can do during wake up? Like how ryu has DP wake up.
Not unless u have lvl3, lvl2 is so slow unless they do a throw or a heavy as the meaty theyll prob recover in time. u can try to perfect parry which is very high reward since u can backthrow them into the corner but obviously loses to throws relatively hard
@MrDodidor Thank you. That is what I've been running into. Sf5 you could use spin driver or lariat. It seems like there should be another option, but i haven't been able to get anything else to work.
@Kannon_Shots quick crouch LK is about the only thing i can do once I am getting up. They just spam crouch punch or standing LP "No can defend". I'm pretty sure at low platinum, this is the ultimate killer move against Zangief.
I wonder the same, but I feel like perhaps adapting enough to find openings and just learning big combos. Yeh some will shut them down, but if they are patient enough, I guess most players will make a mistake.
The prompts on your form were not specific enough. People were asking you for tips against characters that were not represented in the replays because they already knew you were going to talk about the replays. It's cool that you're coaching, though.
For this format, you should only be submitting the replay you want analyzed. Neph can't get enough info about a person's play to coach on things he can't see without a full session with them.

9 months later, Nephew was the coach in Sajam Slam! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
It was good of you to help that Pink guy at the end. I bet with your help, he could be a phenomenal player!

The all cammy/ryu lineup is crazy lol what are the odds
The final review killed me. Good seeing Punk and Neph interact and banter a bit.
Great vid, that first AKI player struggled with the same things i do as an AKI player, so that was super helpful
…why is every match Cammy-Ryu tho 💀
8:00 can we talk about that ryu mashing dp WHILE HE’S IN THE MIDDLE OF A COMBO ⁉️⁉️😭
what else is there to do? it beats resets and works if they drop the combo, and if they don’t drop, you lost nothing
I came to the comments to comment that he was fighting for his life 😭😭😭
@@ndasshole holding back so you can get an actual punish from dropped combo instead of just a dp
i love the video idea, i would love to watch one of these every now and then

I think there were quite a few Cammy players because the stream where the coaching was posted was a Cammy stream.
Damn wish I got in on this. Pretty lucky to get this kind of input for free

"I tried coaching all my Cammy viewers against Ryu players" the video.
Great tips! Keep them comin'!

Much appreciated boss.
Nephew: plat 5 is probably the rank of the average player that watches my stuff
Me: *cries in bronze*

hope to see more of these, maybe some character specific ones

That first master cammy is playing like a bot. I’m so confused. I’m at 15:55 and they still haven’t hit a button other than jump or sweep
I dunno why people ask for advice giving winning replays. Isn't better to provide losses replays to get more of your mistakes?

It is also possible I was read, but from where I stand I find that hard to believe.

@@lucius8675lol i dont think those are invincible xD. But yeah you just have to hold pressure and delay tech or parry

Can’t you just wake up SPD or EX SPD? I’m pretty sure it beats buttons
That iron player has better reactions than me
This is good. I need some serious help.
please make some more juri vids, guides or setups or anything really
My problem is I get tilted and guess wrong every time. .n.
How do people get into master without using buttons and just using jump ins?
I wonder the same, but I feel like perhaps adapting enough to find openings and just learning big combos. Yeh some will shut them down, but if they are patient enough, I guess most players will make a mistake.
Got further in the video and. . . you were probably talking about the cammy. No that was actually extremely questionable. No combos or nothing.
lol why were there so many Cammy players lol
all fighting Ryu too LOL

1 hour video dawg... you aint gonna hold my attention that long lol
