Hi there. Thanks a lot. This was very useful, especially because the case documentation does not mention the cables to be connected to the motherboard at all. I'm still struggling with one thing: When you're pushing the front panel fan speed button for 3 seconds, you're supposed to switch to power management mode (variable speed depending on temperature). But even when I set the corresponding header to PWM in the BIOS, nothing happens, I just have the 3 preset fixed speeds. Also, the BIOS cannot read the actual fan speeds, since the connector coming from the fan controller has only 2 wires. Am I missing something here? Thanks!
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Thanks for your answer. Then the connection of the case control unit to a fan header is irrelevant. Weird. I sent the question to the BeQuiet support. Let's see.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Well, I haven't received an answer yet, but I found the issue. Of the 8 fan connectors on the case fan/RGB controller, you have to have one connected to FAN1. I just used the left connections of the controller, for cleaner cable management, so I didn't have anything on FAN1. There is a marking on the circuit board that reads "FAN1 (RPM)", when all others read "FAN2", "FAN3"... I have no idea how I was supposed to know that, since the case user guide doesn't mention anything about that (or about how to connect any of the case cables to the motherboard). Hope this can help someone who's facing the same issue.
For some reason, while watching this video, I was thinking at the road Microsoft is talking and the effect on the hardware. It seems that Win 10 is still over 70% of market share and Win 11 do not perform as expected. regarding the video cards, mine is an old GTX 1660 and is larger than I wish so the air flow in the PC case is not great. I have 4 fans and the temperature is great but the level of dust that is gathering inside is apocalyptic. I remember back in the days we have very small videocards :), low power but really small devices. Also I noticed that some of the cords that come with the Power supply are not always at an optimal length. I keep RGB lights at a minimum because they distract me. One of the case walls is made out of glass. I like your set-up.
Yeah RGB is something that people either like or don't for sure. Yeah I had a case that seemed to collect dust more often then others, it didn't seem to matter the fan or different types or direction. Maybe some cases just don't have a good airflow path. Glad you like the setup. Thanks

Yeah Microsoft is trying more and more to mess with people. When will companies realize they can't control everything, and if forced people will find alternatives eventually. Thanks
I don't think anyone makes nicer cables than BeQuiet. You really get what you pay for
Yeah, they do a great job and keep improving all the time. Thanks
Way to explain Dennis! Lots of knowledge my friend.👍
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
Thanks John, you too.
Basically what you're going to do is whatever you want to do. Much knowledge my friend.
Well I'm going to try lol... Thanks
Very good breakdown and build of the product. Wonderful job!
Much appreciated Jeremy. Thanks very much.
Great review. Best regards and thanks for the tips. Have a nice week. 👍
Thanks, you too!

I was able to control the fans with the button on the case, but not through the BIOS with any noticeable difference.

Hopefully they'll have more info on it. Good Luck.

Interesting method putting PSU upside down, lol
I mention that I had it upside down and then changed it after. It's at 26:41 in the video, silly mistake on my part yeah. Thanks
Reviewing Playing & More RPM spectacularly fantastically exquisite outstandingly superbly laudable splendorously majestically stellar
Wow, thank you!
