Could you fit two 360mm radiators without a space issue at the top front corner?
Hi, I know it doesn't officially support 420mm radiators (as also stated by you in the vid) but, do you think it could fit at the top mount IF you removed the rear fan (similar to the Lancool 3 and Meshify 2 non-xl as they can only fit the big rad at the top if you run a slim 120mm fan in the back) ? Asking because the external measurements of the 701 are slightly larger than the shadowbase 800, while the 800 officially supports the 420mm rad and there looks to be a "big" gap in front of the rad in your video when you show your build from the side. Thank you in advance for your time

Curious how the noise compared between the pure loop and dark rock elite coolers? Was the elite quieter?
You said the top has a dust filter build in? Be Quiet states the top doesn't have a filter. Can you please clarify because this might be a deal breaker for me.
Fine mesh. I count it as a dust filter because the holes are small enough to block dust but big enough for the air flow.
@@PCCrazyDarioThank you for the quick answer. So you think it is not needed to make a dust filter for the top? I don't get the decision Be Quiet made to give the Shadow Base 800 a dust filter and the higher segment none. Even the Dark base 901 doesn't have a filter.
@@IGFoneYou are welcome. Nahhh, I wouldn't even bother with the top. The reason for that is because it is fine mesh plus you usually place an exhaust at the top, since hot air rises. Now there is also another factor, if you had a dust filter at the top, all the dust would be accumulated at the bottom part (not at the top). This way, since it is exhaust, all dust that eventually shows up will be spread everywhere else outside of the build when taking the top panel into consideration. Hope I did explain this properly. I think BeQuet! wouldn't play with such an important thing. ;)
Also, additional dust filter with the mesh panel would just create additional blockage of air, which is unnecessary when you take into consideration everything I wrote.
@@PCCrazyDarioDo you think this also applies to an air cooled build with only 1 fan in the top? The rest of the top space wil be open for dust. And while we are here...just another question😁.....If you want to build a quiet as possible build which case would you choose: 701 or 901? Take in consideration that the 901 has the front fans mounted behind the bracket (albeit with spacers) which can lead to turbulence + 901 has more volume = more fans needed for same result in 701? Actually, I do. Looks more cleaner and really loved building inside it. Nothing against the SHADOW BASE 800 in terms that is a bad case. Just I would for me personally, if I had to choose, go with this one 100%.
The shadow base is what the dark base 701 should have been. Shadow base 800 supports 420mm radiator and does not have the issue fitting ticker radiator at front, unlike the 701.
