This is a build for a good friend of mine! She originally wanted it to be a mix of Il Mheg and Amaurot, but I didn't think I would be able to do it. She chose Amaurot out of the two, and asked if there could be plants incorporated. As well as a living room and library. So, my brain just thought of overgrown!
I didn't want to just make this build similar to how my other Amaurot builds though, I wanted it to feel more dramatic and abandoned. I like to think this is a more romanticized version of Amaurot.
I started with the fireplace then went from there. I really wanted to incorporate the Endwalker picture she had, and I thought it being over a fireplace would be the best thing for that. I've done many fireplaces though, so I didn't want to just use a fireplace I've done already. I changed up that wall many times!
The downstairs gave me the most trouble because I only had around 90 slots left. I also wanted it to give the same feel as the upstairs, which was very hard ;-; I hope it all feels cohesive. I really enjoyed working a different kind of Amaurot!
