Staying at a hotel inside of palisades is the easiest, you can also look at places around Tahoe city and truckee.

Unfortunately not, there’s a gully run in alpine called “hot wheel gully” there a half pipe at Northstar resort

@@Wynton25 Yep! Your palisades ticket also covers Alpine Meadows, Northstar is a separate resort, I did videos on both if you want to check it out, they are all in North Tahoe. :) Have fun!
Which is your favorite destination trip for snowboarding.. planning to go feb. Debating pallisades or snowbird.. 😅
I have recently gone to Snowbird! I would say both are great though I am slightly biased by Palisades right now since I know the mountain much better. Some key differences- Snowbird is not beginner/intermediate snowboard friendly, has a lot of flat/narrow traverses, it doesn't have a big apre ski scene/village. However, I personally enjoy the SLC area more than Tahoe bc less driving to ski resorts from the major city (so you can have a nice meal in the city and more lodging options). If you are a skier you can't go wrong with either. I am going to Snowbird again soon but this time skiing and maybe exploring Alta as well. I also have to say Heavenly probably has the most beautiful view but is also the most crowded on weekends.
out of curiosity... if you had to pick between going to Palisades or going to Northstar, which one would you pick???
I definitely prefer Palisades! :)
I've only been to Northstar, but the views in this video made me want to try Palisades. It's hard to say no to the free champagne and s'mores at Northstar though lol@@travelwithfawn
