It's because it's stated in the Quran to do so. I'm sure if the Bible or any other holy text said it, the followers of that religion would be doing the same

The angels want all of you to say (Pbuh) when you mention a prophet, not just Muslims. You must show respect for God or God will not protect you. "Give To God What Is Owed To God." The ONLY religion which will protect you from hell is Islam. No one has the right to question God and Israel has thrown "The Torah" in the garbage. Once my blood is shed in Jerusalem, things will turn for the better immediately.

That's something derived only from the Quran, so it's specifically intended for people who see the Quran as the truth, which includes Muslims only

Here is one example some chrisitans say jesus is God or they believe in God but not jesus. In real Christian he would say jesus is the Son of God and he will believe in both.
