- Quelques heures avant un concert grandiose au Bataclan, The Swell Season en formation presque complète nous offre deux morceaux en acoustique.
The Partisan est une reprise de Leonard Cohen , qui reprend lui-même la "complainte des partisans" (fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Comp.... Au début de la vidéo, on voit la retranscription phonétique assez approximative que Glen utilise.
(un énorme merci à Anne-Hélène et au management du groupe pour avoir rendu cette session possible)

Dire que Cohen a fait une partie de sa chanson en français pour puiser dans le patrimoine de chaque pays dans lequel il joue, c'est inexact. La raison est plus simple, Leonard Cohen est né à Montréal ville francophone et a demeuré longtemps au Québec. Très bonne version de Swell Season.

La chanson d'origine n'est pas "le chant des partisans" mais "La complainte du partisan" fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Complainte_du_partisan.
Les deux chants ont la même compositrice, Anna Marly, mais pas les mêmes auteurs, Emmanuel d'Astier de La Vigerie pour La complainte et Kessel et Druon pour Le chant.
