That's actually a cool way to do a review of multiple blends. I'd encourage you to do this with English, VaPers, and Burley blends! 😀
Glad to hear it. I wasn't sure how it would go. I'll include it more in the future.
Great review-been mixing Lane 1-Q with Crème Brûlée. I make my own blends with five (5) different tobaccos from three (3) different companies.
Whoa, what a whirl wind and yet very well done! A one stop shop before heading to the B&M thanks
I appreciate it! I'll use this format in the future.
This way of reviewing is pretty fun. 10/10
Thanks!
Apologies that the comments were turned off. Not sure why RUclips did that.
I just tried the Spiced Rum for the first time, and I very much liked it. Thanks for the recommendation!
Haha this was awesome! I would love to see you do another just like this but with all of sutliff's "match" blends to see just how close they really are
I agree..... that would be a great comparison.
Great Review. I always like when I hear comparisons. My tops: Creme Brulee, Rum&Maple for the maple flavor, Spiced Rum, I will try Black Cordial and Vanilla Custard because of this great Sutliff review. Do Lane Next.
Good Morning Pastor 😊 Awesome Video👌🏽 Thanks For Sharing 👏🏼 Have a Blessed Day and God Bless 🙏🏽 Greetings From South Africa 🇿🇦
Thank you Yusuf
Excelent way to present this. Maybe a non aromatic sutliff bulk review.
Awesome video. Sale on sutliff blends on tobacco pipes. Probably gonna order. Gotta get familiar with sutliff for the anniversary evemt next month
New pipe smoker here! I have the Sutliff J4 and the Vanilla Custard and I have throughly enjoyed both. However, I did have to dry both of these blends out when I received them. No sure if thats common or not
Just finished second bowl of vanilla custard, it's good I like it but it needs some drying time. A bit goopy.
J4 is a solid blend.
I was really surprised to see 507C Virginia Slices absent from the group, since to me that's Sutliff's very best bulk blend! I'm not too much of sugary aromatic smoker these days, I mostly prefer pure Virginia flakes and high octane Dark Fired Kentucky blends, but Sutliff Vanilla Custard was one of my very first pipe tobaccos and I remember liking it a lot back then. Black Cordial sounds interesting too, and I can't help but wonder if it's at all similar to Cult Blood Red Moon since that is one aromatic I still really enjoy from time to time.
As I've gained more insight of the pipe tobacco industry, I've noticed the top selling blends are not what newer pipe smokers that pursue artisan blends like (natural flavors, specially made, etc.) It is the basic aromatic blends, Captain Black-like. Hence why you don't find 507c on the top selling list, even though it is a great blend.
@@TheSpurgeonPiper well replied!
507 definitely should of been number 1
Great! I enjoy your content very much
Would be interested in your review of the sutliff galleria series. I can get them here in Japan but not any of the bulk blends.
Love your content. Thank you.
I appreciate that!
Have you ever done or be willing to do a video about why pipes, even factory pipes, range so widely in price?
@@Jbasey25 only if I can have someone on who's knowledgeable about that. I would really like to but I'm limited on what I known there
Have you ever tried Barbados Plantation? Thoughts on it
@@NateAddison sure haven't
@@TheSpurgeonPiper It was on a list for one of the best room notes and I was looking for some my wife would love the smell of them. Not many reviews on it so wanted to ask before venturing out. Thanks
Just out of curiosity, how long would these tobaccos stay good and keep their flavor if they were jarred up? I like trying new aromatics but I feel like I need to smoke all of it within a few weeks after I open them.
@@OleReese jarred up? They would last years, though flavor would start to diminish
Are these the Galleria series?
@@pearcem not all
Does a pipe tobacco leave a heavy aftertaste like a cigar?
@@AbadyShamsan-di7qy for the most part no. It's one reason I enjoy pipes more
@@TheSpurgeonPiper thank you 🙏
