Wow didn’t know all these people knitted and some of the articles they were knitting looked complicated. Thanks for this!

It's hard to pick a favourite. Possibly Ingrid Bergman in her Bohus sweater.

Hi Billie! A Grace Kelly story: my mother was a big fan. My dad was the Portuguese consul in Philadelphia and my parents were invited to meet Prince Ranier & Princess Grace at a reception for the diplomatic corps, must have been late 50’s. Grace & the Prince were visiting Philadelphia. Afterwards, I heard my mother tell an acquaintance: “I met Princess Grace today, and shook her hand. I may never wash my hand again!” She disliked those events, usually, but she was star struck that day!

This was wonderful! thank you! I have only recently found your channel and cannot wait to go back and see from the start. You probably already know of it, but just in case there is a very cute little booklet of vintage photographs entitled "People knitting. A century of photographs" curated by Barbara Levine.

Thank you, glad you found it to be wonderful. I am not familiar with the book, but I love photography and will look out for it.

@@ShowandTellknitting it's a small booklet that I found on amazon a few months ago and was not expensive, I had heard another Italian knitter as myself, who also loves books, mention it. You made me smile when you described your work in France and Italy 😊

I always loved the line from breakfast at Tiffany’s about the knitting 🧶 instructions getting mixed up with the blue print 😅
