Horses seem to love an audience more than any other animal. I have seen videos where, when the horse knows they are the center of attention, they ham it up. They might even do something especially showing then look to the audience expecting applause (and disappointed if they don't get it). Some have even developed bad habits, like doing little bucks an inopportune times for their riders because they get approved cheers from the spectators. 🐎🐎🐎👏🏻👏🏼👏🏽 Even dogs, who have been more cultivated as man's companion don't go attention crazy. They prefer the one on one of their owners.
Is it permissable for the handler of the horse to call the horse, when the horse's liberty is timed out? Is there also a conformation class where the horse is posed? Is the Liberty class strictly for mature stallion's? Thank u in advance if anyone will share answers. Beautiful.
Julia McDonald-Carberry When their time is finished in liberty (open to registered purebred arabians only regardless of gender), they have only so much time to collect the horse to avoid being disqualified. There is halter which is judged on the conformation

So, if I have a purebred stallion I wish to show at Halter, I can enter the appropriate halter class for my horse's age group then, also enter him in the At Liberty class? I'm a member of AHA &:I own a Khemosabi grandson foaled by one of his last daughters still producing & sired by Awesome Knight, Bask Grandson. I'm new at showing Arabians & not very familiar with/the AHA website. Could u tell me where on the website I would search to find the rules, regulations & other info about showing my stallion at halter & liberty class? I'd be grateful for any info ur Will ng to share. TU
Julia McDonald-Carberry if you Google Arabian horse association class specifications you'll find the details of each regulated class. You could enter both halter and liberty, halter of course is a stand up whereas liberty is free running with music, based a lot off of movement
Not sure how I feel about a class that judges a “handler” chasing a horse around an arena with a Walmart grocery bag on a stick??? Seems kind of counterproductive and pointless!
Lots of horse breeds are beautiful, but Arabians are still in a class above them all.

To me this is inhumane Horse cruelty
then you expect this horse to allow a human to ride it after its been chased by a human with a whip.
