this horse is taken better care of than probably 99% of people in this world ! he is obviously shiny, happy ,and a true entertainer, much like other athletes ,i am sure there is some quality hay and a nice toweling off waiting for him back at his stall [and possibly a fan club] from a longtime friend of ALL horses
He is beautiful! He really knows how to turn on the wow for the crowd. I love his head-tosses and swift direction changes. He's got a beautiful ground-swallowing stride too! What a horse!
If this little performer didn't win...then i don't know what kind of showman would be necessary to win!?!? What a truly amazing, handsome dude!!💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗😎
I was watching a video like this, Arabian freestyle stallion class and people were commenting on how "dangerous " to the horse letting them loose with music and crowd noise and no one "attached " via halter or saddle. I thought about that for a moment and realized this person is purely jealous, put off that these horses are showing themselves. They are strutting around engaging with the audience without some "trainer" "rider" basically a human in control. It was eating them up. To think a horse showing speed grace skill and attitude all by itself. I love it! Not only that these horses are rock stars but they are with minimum input from a trainer.
For those of you concerned that this is abnormal behavior...it's not. Especially in HCV. I've seen him at liberty since he was a yearling and this is normal for him. He simply loves applause. His sire, Hucks Premier V, has the exact same mannerisms. He's a little guy with a huge heart and loves to play. I have photos of his sire during liberty where he'd literally jump straight up off all four. And no, he is NOT NSH. Sire: Hucks Premier V Dam: Crystal Lace. Bred by Varian Arabians.
He is going around there prancing and nodding his head saying "Come on, ya come on and give it up" and when he gets the applause he lights up, and really shows it off for the crowd, NOTHING abnormal, he is out there strutting, this is how a horse acts when they are proud of themselves.
Oh trust me, that horse definitely does not get mistreated. I work for the people who own him and he is definitely loved and cared about. He loves his job and shows it well. :)
Also, most of the Arabians shown at Scottsdale are some of the finest in the world and many horses are owned by wealthy Saudi Arabians. So far no one has complained about the flag banner.
I love how you can see the exact moment this horse realized people were cheering for HIM and he puffed up all like ":D I AM great!" as he was being led in. I love Arabs!
Breathtaking! He has Bask Blood. I Saw on his pedigree, but Really, I did not even Need to. you can see it in the way he is just so... Look at me. so full of passion and FIRE!! Beautiful horse!
This is a handsome stallion that I can see is full of personality and charisma. We Arabian horse owners embrace this because it is just what they do and obviously he is good at what he does! The ignorance and prejudice of those who have never taken the opportunity to know what these horses are all about is so disappointing, and it's never more obvious than by some of the comments I have read under the you tube videos.
Well little known facts; the spine of the arabian horses have 1 or 2 fewer vertebrae than any other horse breeds, plus they have bigger & wider rib cages, large nostrils, thus it has more stamina and power than the other horses. In 1921 the arabian horse won in a series of exhausting races held back in UK, where the horses had forced to carry more than 111 Kilograms, for a 60 miles aggressive rock-filled roads, just to make it much harder for the horses, the first horse was an arabian horse, you can imagine how bad it was for the horses & how powerful the Arabian stallion was despite the fact that the arabian horse was consuming fewer meals before the race comparing to the other horses. 😄
This is the equine equivalent of doing donuts in the car. He's probably been doing his halter classes all week thinking "come ON, human, if you want me to show off you have to let me go!" When they took the halter off he probably couldn't believe his luck!
Nothing about this is natural, he is following the subtle commands of the handler, a clap or hand gesture and the beautifully trained horse does a toss or a gallop...stunning, but trained.
I think you're missing the point. Its a horse show. Not a festival about Arabia. At the World Percheron Congress (in USA), they don't have the French flag flying. World Clydesdale show (In Canada), there is no Scottish flag flying. They have whatever home country is putting on the show. Also, Its Saint Patrick's Day that is Irish. And is really just an excuse for American's to go out and drink a lot. Saint Peter's day is on June 29th and is typically celebrated by Italian Americans.
@motoi001 It is natural how is it not natural? And their hooves are not deformed, if they were, how would the horse be able to do all that, with it's ears perk and happy the whole time?
I'm showing my 14yr old arabain mare Morning Breeze BH(Nepszar xSibreeze)She had 13 foals including Temptress T(Eternity),US national top 10 yearling filly Temptation T(Eternity),Cambree T(Magnum Psyche)Who Just had a LA Karat Filly One of are embro Mare Right after the foal was born she didnt ascept it so Cambree Took it in!!! something very rare and the foal was sired by LA Karat x Memphis NA Mom of PA Gazi!!!
@motoi001: what is a true shame is the fact that you know NOTHING of Shelia Varian or her AMAZING horses. Shelia has been in the Arabian Industry for more than 50 years, and her horses have influenced much of what the breed is today. Bay Abi, Bey el bey, Huckleberry bey are all Shelia's horses!! Amazing horses they are! Every horse from her nowadays has a "V" at the end signifying a Varian bred horse. And your right he does not look arabic, that's because he is from Polish stock!
a pure shame what they do to these animals to get them to look like that. Absolutely gorgeous horse yet some owners go to the extreme to get the horse to look like that.
now there is a horse who enjoys himself at liberty. I see too many videos of the horses hauling ass for the gate only to be chased away with whips by their handlers. They should take a lesson from this gorgeous guy. :P
Trying to get tricky typing in French...we have these cool things called Online translators...nice try though. Did it ever occur to you that not all horses are bred to be the same? That some are bred to have high carriage and action while others more flat? Some horses are bred to be show horses, other's just to be pets?
So tell me, since you are the "expert"...What is "natural" for an Arabian? Define "natural" for any domesticated horse. I back Sheila's horses 100%...I'm lucky enough to own one, Hucks Heirmale V- Check him out! Although before you get all crazy on me, my Huck is only 1/2 arabian.
Yes. this is in Scottsdale, Arizona USA at the ARABIAN horse show! Shocking i know...to think that people in America love the Arabian breed of horse...do all ya'll live in a cave? Newsflash, there are hundreds of horse breeds that are popular throughout the world.
He has a nice head, none of that "my little pony" stuff you see now where the horse has a tiny little muzzle and popped-out eyes. He strikes me as more of a classic Arabian with a gorgeous profile, with a "chin" instead of a little bugle beak
He is a purebred Arab, but I agree, he needs a stronger hindquarter and flatter croup. I don't think his head is very typey, but his tail is long and lots of fire so most people will think he's perfect.
That doesn't make any sense..."The Speeds"???? What are speeds? What does "not like a spanish for example" mean?? Oh wait...you don't know what your talking about...its ok...just give up.
Just look at him throwing his head around in pain from the bridle bit. Oh wait.... Poor animal is scared to death. Why doesn't everybody just be real quiet and let him walk around slowly. What if his tail gets tangled in something. That's very dangerous.
Your trolling, right? If not, look very closely at the horse's head. Where's the bridle? Where's the bit? He's not wearing one. This is a liberty class! Horses get to run free, do whatever they want, and have fun from the moment the music starts until it stops. No bridle. No bit. Even at the end, they put a halter on him. No bridle. No bit.
this horse is taken better care of than probably 99% of people in this world ! he is obviously shiny, happy ,and a true entertainer, much like other athletes ,i am sure there is some quality hay and a nice toweling off waiting for him back at his stall [and possibly a fan club] from a longtime friend of ALL horses
So much fire! So much grace. Absolutely gorgeous to watch
I think this is my favorite class. The horses clearly are having a good deal of fun.
BEAUTIFUL! Love to watch horses just dancing around as free and wild as the wind!

ABSOLUTELY BREATH-TAKING!!! A TRUE BEAUTY!!
this horse is loving the attention! :D

Oh my, what a show-off!! MAGNIFICENT!!!
Stunning performance from a stunning horse! He's the epitome of a Varian Arabian. Quality through and through.

I have two arabians and this is my all time favorite video.
I love how happy he/she looks

Who owns the horse?
He's a gorgeous horse! Obviously he's well taken care of, otherwise he wouldn't look so happy out there!
Also, most of the Arabians shown at Scottsdale are some of the finest in the world and many horses are owned by wealthy Saudi Arabians. So far no one has complained about the flag banner.
These horses belong to Sheikh Qaboos, ruler of the Sultanate of Oman.
Gosh he is soooooo gorgeous!!! I can't wait when Ann and Jack bring him home. I ready to meet this guy!
I love his little move at 0:54!
omg this horse knew what he was doing.. he knew he had to show off his beauty lool
Look at him! He is showing off to the crowd. He's gorgeous and knows it
Watch him toss his head, stop and turn to make sure everyone gets a good look at him :)
All because of a Lady " Shiela Varion " , the reason for the " V " in the name . No better breeder !!

This horse has got it going ON! And he knows it!
Beautiful! l love the fact they let them run free the horse loves it
l had a question
Up til how far what weight can Arabian horses drag?
Well little known facts; the spine of the arabian horses have 1 or 2 fewer vertebrae than any other horse breeds, plus they have bigger & wider rib cages, large nostrils, thus it has more stamina and power than the other horses.

You didn't answer my question...I'm asking you what is "natural" for a domesticated Arabian show horse in the saddle seat discipline?
why would you cut his mane like that when he is so gorgeous with such that beautiful tail..?
The tail is artificially enhanced. Extensions.
@@nyaxa No. This is his natural appearance. No extensions permitted in Arabian shows.
that is one of the most gorgeous arabians i've ever seen!!!
Quelle esthétique !!!
Tail legnth.... attachment or for real? Seems kinda odd
Tania Dottie it’s more than likely natural their tails especially show horses can get that long is taken care of :)
It is eilgal to use tail extentions on Arabs at high grade shows
Класс!!!

yes it is Arabian
Technically maybe. Not very typey though.
