This was just an experiment for me and for you to see what the lubelocker gasket looks like after 2 years of service. Looked good and was re-installed. No leaks still to date. Saved a ton of time draining and refilling with new fluid. Happy customer here.
The Lucas diff fluid that came out was foamy - I suspect it was due to it being over-full. With this fill I let the fluid completely stop draining from the fill hole before putting the plug back in. This took several minutes.
Nothing scientific, just observational entertainment.

I've been running trucks for over 30 years Marc and I have yet to change out the differential gasket or fluid.....This job goes to my mechanic and his lift.....If I did this job I'd run out of cuss words and probably need a blood transfusion.....LOL!!😎
Hey Wes!! This Lubelocker sure beats the snot outta RTV. Scraping off the RTV PLUS waiting for the new RTV to cure before the refill is for the birds!
