Class act like no other. The type of man we all would want coaching and mentoring our own kid.
💯
he is the gandhi of the nfl
WHY IS TONY DUNGY IN THE HALL OF FAME
@AmirKhan-rh6jjHater! Something you could never accomplish.. He's in so now what?😂
One of my favorite coaches of all time!
Peyton and Dungy Forever 👍
A fine Christian man with high character and integrity. 👏
Agree....I'm Muslim but I've got so much respect for him one of my favorite coaches of all time 🙏🏾🤲🏿
It is really great to see someone like Tony make it into the Hall Of Fame. He is a class act and a great role model as well!
Great speech by a great man!
The Chuck Noll coaching tree extends to Mike Tomlin via Tony Dungy.
I just listened to an "Uncommon Marriage" and am really grateful for the Dungy's vulnerability, honesty and candidness. They have accomplished so much all to the glory of God. That's what brought me here to listen to more of what Tony has accomplished and has had to say. The speech was very honoring to many throughout his life. This is a first class couple.
He took 2 perennial losers and turned them into powerhouses. The Colts were awful before Tony got there. Tampa Bay, are you serious, those guys were a disgrace but Dungy turned that team into Super Bowl Champs. There aren't many coaches like that in the NFL.
Tony has quiet strength. I love Tony. Great man great coach. He never had to tell or use bad words.
A great inspiration for any man. No matter who you are or where you come from. Great coach! But even a better man. The book Uncommon Life brought me here
Thank you for sharing this common. Good to know how someone shares this similar track, the book The Power of Habit brought me here.

I met him in line at a Taco Bell, I couldn't think of what to say so I said, "hey I think your food is ready" XD
?????
He ate at Taco Bell?! A humble man.
+Mitchell Lee no it was just something that actually happened lol
+Edward Seiler yeah, it surprised me lol
LMAO. Well, there's that I guess lol
a class individual and very deserving to be in the Hall of Fame.
Congrats Dungy God bless
A man of true character. A role model for every man!
YODA OF THE NFL

l live in Jackson, Michigan and went to school with Tony from Frost Jr. High to Parkside High, he went on to Minnasota, while l played at Michigan
got to meet him in pitt and talked to him a good while about alot of things.great man and truly blessed.
Awesome speech class act Tony Dungy great coach
I Respect Tony Dungy A Real Black Man
Exactly
Wow that's what respect looks like.
Tampa Bay should've given him a ring for putting together that 2002 Bucs squad before being replaced!
Agree he built that defense
It couldn't have happened to a better person. Tony Dungy is truly a Class Act.
Great man, way to go Coach Dungy!
Lets get Shell in there now..He is decades overdue..
Congrats to one of the GOAT
POLSKA. WARSZAWA. BRACIE TONY, DZIĘKUJĘ ZA TWOJE ŚWIADECTWO WIARY. SŁUCHAJĄC CIEBIE, ZOBACZYŁAM CZŁOWIEKA, KTÓRY KOCHA BOGA I LUDZI. BOŻA PERSPEKTYWA JEST NAJLEPSZA. PRAWDZIWIE JESTEŚ BOŻYM SŁUGĄ I JEGO WSPANIAŁYM WOJOWNIKIEM!!!
Tony needs a statue in Indy!
Great to listen to the coach. What he accomplished seems impossible looking back. Dungy is one of the greatest for sure!
Go Gophers!!!
Congratulations Tony🏈
Donnie Shell NEEDS to be in the Hall. No excuse.
Grow up a cowboy fan and Shell should be in the Hof
He is now.
the book Power of Habits brought me here
Same
I love how the camera keeps on going on Peyton Manning and he's not even mentioned
I love Tony, but Peyton is the reason he is in the Hall of Fame.
@@pegcage i love Peyton too but no he's not the reason
Tony is Great! Coach and Man!
imagine if bob sanders never got injured
fax tho. sanders was a great DB
When he went to Superbowl lovie Smith coached against him. 2 African americans. Tony had quiet strength he never yell or cuss at anyone
Top 3 coaches of all time
Lombardi
Dungy
Belicheck (even though I hate him)
Ditka
Madden
MIKE PETTINE?
Chuck Noll?
Don't forget Bill Walsh? 4 time Superbowl coach!
A CLASS ACT. TRULY A CREDIT TO THE HOF.
I was at the 97 Bucs playoff game 15 yrs old. Grew up with Tony Dungy’s SB winning Bucs. Love those teams. What they could of been if he stayed with the Bucs entire HC career.
I love Dungy but he built a powerhouse defense here in Tampa with a lackluster offense. During his final 3 playoff games with the Bucs we scored a grand total of zero touchdowns against the Rams in 99, Eagles in 2000, then Eagles again in 2001. Gruden comes in the next year and with the help of newcomers on offense scores 13 postseason touchdowns en route to a Super Bowl victory. If Dungy had a respectable offense that defense could have won at least 3 championships. If anything Dungy cost us some Super Bowls. Gruden won the Super Bowl with Dungy's team is one of the biggest myths in sports.
@@Alan-oj3psGrudens a Racist.
1st Class!
God sure does love football players
What was it like 5 times he worked religion into it? I guess the guys that didn't make it must of missed church a few times.
Lmao
+Mryrhodesian you don't get it do you?Even in what seems to be a dissapointment, we will still praise God.This man lost his son.
Micheal, your the one who doesn't get it. Doesn't mention the person who more than anyone else got him to the HOF by name but mentions something that may or may not exist 5 times. What guys like you never get is that not everyone wants to hear the religious BS but somehow they'll always manage to work it in to the conversation. They give the imaginary guy all the credit but never the blame when disaster strikes.
Class act.
Was an ok but very smart football player, a very smart and great coach though
G.O.A.T
No.
@@miklovelka8227 In his opinion yes and in your opinion no.
We love TD 👀
Don Coryell before this guy!!!!! He changed the game.
No Monte Kiffin mention? Anyone knows where they met?
colts baby
the thumbnail made laugh for a good 5 minutes
17 minute speech and he doesn't take 5 seconds to acknowledge Peyton Manning by name. I understand Dungy's intentions to bring attention to those 10 minority coaches that never got the limelight but I think he will regret not mentioning Manning. Without Manning Dungy doesnt even sniff the HoF. To those that disagree I point to exhibit A: Lovie Smith.
As huge a Peyton fan as I am, this wasn't the occasion to make it about him. He is a GREAT QB, maybe one of the greatest, but in the scheme of the game, he was doing his job. Dungy wanted players to know how he esteems them all. This day was about a football life and body of work.
Well technically he did when he told all the players that had played for him to stand. Peyton was one of them and he recognized them as a group not as individuals. Football is a team sport not an individual. Let's let the truth be told Peyton wouldn't have been Peyton is it wasn't for Edgerin James, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney, Bob Sanders , Coach Dungy, Von Miller, DeMarreus Thomas, John Elway this list goes on an own. People so forget all about the other parts that made Peyton great because with out the players and coaches and team execs would Peyton be a first ballot Hall of Famer
And without peyton this year how are the Broncos doing?
@@Mryrhodesian peyton actually sucked his last season with the Broncos hints the reason they benched him for 4 games that season. The broncos defense won that title hints the reason Von Miller was the mvp not number 18
Manning was great one of the best ever, but he's not he only reason Dungy made the Hof
Достойный!
Did ya'll see that bug just sneak up on that mic?
He’s my dad I’m not kidding
Unfortunate thumbnail there for coach.
Uncle Tony... shoot the med ball like a basketball....
Nice
Tom Flores thoooooo
He's next
Ikr it's funny how he gets no respect as the first Mexican American coach to win the superbowl but tony Dungy as the first African American to win the superbowl gets all the love .
It's probably hard for us today to imagine how much bigotry there actually was in terms of certain people being the HEAD coach, altho they were willing to make them their assistants. I believe the recognition is in light of how strong the barrier really was.
Jose Alanis exactly. Its bullshit.
Jose Alanis And Jim Plunkett first hispanic to win a superbowl
What position did he play
Defensive back
You know was gets me yall think dungy was the first minority and colored person to win a super bowl check yall facts Tom Flores was the 1st and yet not in HOF unacceptable
No most of us know that Tom Flores was the first minority coach. Tony is the first African American coach not the first minority.
Hey
Praise Jesus! He loves you all...even these scoffers in the comments who gave been brainwashed by today's society/media
Yes Jesus does and I would like to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ tonight.
awesome guy awesome coach , but he didnt Even mention Manning
It's about TEAM
I agree...definately shuda mentioned Peyton. It's a team game but without manning wudnt have even sniffed the success he had w colts, let alone the ring.
but he had success before manning....look back at tampa bay before he got there. then look at manning before dungy.
@@truman6964 He mentioned the whole team , Peyton was on the team right.
Lets keep it real for all yall Tom flores should of been wayyyyy before dungy even tho he was a good coach Flores was way better and "He was the first first MINORITY coach. and to win 2 superbowls they disrespecting Latinos now
stfu idiot
+alternine yo momma
+alternine yeeeee boyyy
@@money2045 yet tom didn't win as many games as dungy but he does deserve to be in the Hall of fame.
WOW no mentioned of the Great Peyton Manning...
Why should he have he did it as a Team of players NOT individually shows he cares for ALL players for him as ONE team not as a bunch of teams and players...the way he did it I LOVED that
Why mentioned Marvin Harrison? He's no better or have more impact than Peyton did during his time in Indy...
+Dara what about Sapp and Brooks
@@kambodiaboz He mentioned Marvin because marvin was getting inducted with him and he was on the stage.
@@donnelladams340thank you because obviously some people don't pay attention.
Most overrated coach ever
Michael Rood stfu
Tampa bay went from laughing stocks 2 one bad call from from making the SB. Some argue we was a victim of his own success in Tampa. As great as Manning was the colts went from 6-10 2 10-6 in dungys first season and didn't have a losing season since. He's the first head coach 2 beat every team in the league. I'll take that overrated any day
I'd hardly call a Super Bowl Champion Coach overrated
Phil Simms, and Mike Alstott are not in Hall but Dungy is that's bullshit
