Lol, it won specifically due to lighting up that utter snoozefest aka the 2001 ESC final until THEY came on stage. Yet even as an Estonian myself, I actually agree that the Greek song was objectively better (and it has remained as one of the very best ESC songs of the 21st century altogether, miles ahead of "My Number One", which brought the victory to Greece) 🩵🩵
