Humanity in Warhammer 40k can be summed up as follows: Humanity dangles from the edge of a cliff, holding on by their teeth. They have the strength to pull themselves up, but they're too busy using one hand to flip off the jerks watching them dangle, while vigorously punching themselves in the groin with the other. If they could stop doing either or both of those things for ten seconds, they'd have a chance at survival, but they've forgotten how to do anything else.
And yet this dangling, groin punching individual keeps winning against all comers time and again, because management declared that they're the most marketable of the bunch.
Also they are carrying a literal cathedral in their backpack and refuse to take it off because it would disrespect the backpack's machine spirit.

This, ultimately, is the real reason why there is only war in the grim dark future of the 41st Millennium. Because mankind is suffering from such a deficiency of common sense that they are completely unable and in some cases unwilling to get their act together.
I think the real cherry on top of this sketch is the guy, rather than simply just activating a switch or a small button, rapidly bashing his head on the big red "EXTERMINATUS" button.
The quiet "fucking heretiiiiics" scream in the background is what does it for me.
It's even better. The Inquisitor sounds like an addict trying to convince himself he's doing something rational instead of just getting his fix, only to just give in on the crabbing and go nuts.

That got retconned though if I'm still remembering correctly since in the lore the sisters of battle are useless and get non stop bullied by everything else.

The funniest part is that it's stated in that exact same codex that the Grey Knights are completely incorruptible because their gene seed comes straight from the Emperor.

Technically speaking, Vulcans would likely be considered Abhumans by the Imperium, since they and Humans in Star Trek share a common ancestor, can make hybrids, are almost identical to baseline humans, and have beneficial traits. They’re a lot less alien than say Ogryns or Ratlings.

Now that I think about it, if the Imperium was so advanced in its day and they already knew about the Warp’s dangers and randomness. Why did the Emperor not think about another FTL system? Or another race for that matter. And if the Immatterium is belief made manifest, why the fuck the Emperor still needs so many souls to sustain himself?! If this were Shin Megami Tensei or Persona, he would be one of the most badass gods in the universe through seer human faith alone!
