Hi, I'm wondering if the fan is loud or not? Some reviews say it is and some say that the P15S is a normal sound fan... what is the real thing?? Thanks!
Certainly depends on the workload on the computer. Anything with dedicated graphics can be a bit loud compared to a standard laptop. I set this up with a docking station in the laptop is off to the side and underneath the desk. Not too noticeable under there
i don't recommend this laptop i have one and it gets pretty loud for little processes and the fan keeps working full speed in sleep mode i sent the laptop in because i have a warranty and they changed the fan. But nothing changed most of the newer lenovo laptops seem to have this problem i think its rather a software problem than a hardware problem. 4 bios updates later it's still the same ofocourse you can put the laptop on battery efficiency mode then it wil be silent but i don't want to compromise i don't understand why the fans work so hard when the laptop is stil cold .
Modern laptops are made so thin, that they do not cool very well without the fan running at a decently high speed. I agree that this is unfortunate. You should always use Lenovo system update to make sure you have the newest drivers and firmware.
They are not the same. The PassMark score on the Nvidia is about 25% better. Also having dedicated graphic memory is far better, instead of sharing system memory for graphics.
Hi . I need a new laptop for work . I was looking at the Lenovo thinkpad but after your review. I think its not so good. I work remotely, so i need high vueo capability and share screens so i need something that can handle heavy work load . Any suggestions. I was looking at razer. What are your thoughts?
Unfortunately the t500 is not on the recommended system specifications list with Adobe Premiere Pro: helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/system-requirements.html#graphics-cards
I have this laptop and i think it is a good investiment! :) it is capable of doing all that you want, but in respect of his specifications. For example you can not play videogames. It has all the advanced features that are on the world market, in a way that these will be comfortable to when needed. Yeah, there are also other better laptop on the world market, but i think this is a good compromise to work and have good time. Last thing, this laptop will be never old for the next 15-20 years and more 👍
Same, and I bought this model as well... there's some software compability problems as well, for example Lenovo smart standby always gives shit on the operating system.
I immediately subscribed in first 10 seconds beacuse the way he said it, so simple and pure.
Hi! How about the battery life? how long does it last?
awesome video!!!! do you know what specific battery this holds?
No, but you can find it on Lenovo's website using the serial number.
This is a review of p15 Gen 2 NOT the model you posted on Amazon they are 2 different models completely.
Thanks for letting me know! Fixed.
I never press 'like' for a video until i see it, nor do i subscribe to a channel until I am convinced the video is very helpful.

What's the point for the NVIDIA T500, literally the same as the Iris XE?

The only razors I've ever put my hands on had serious issues. I'm not sure exactly what you're saying, "vueo"?
What is the keyboard travel? 1.8mm or 1.5mm or other? How does it compare to the P15/P15v and the Gen 1?
I don'tknow. Sorry I can't be of more help.
How about some benchmarks with video editing, 3D software, gaming, Battery time on video streaming etc.
This tells nothing.
Yeah, it's only Passmark, the most popular analysis tool. I don't really have time to cater to specific uses.
Thanks!
3D software is cool, video editing i don't know, but it is not a laptot for gaming

Yes, but I would look into the recommended specs for whatever software you're running and compare

I hate its fan blowing out the hot air on the right hand side.
Today I got the electric shock from its finger print scan!
The heat has to go somewhere
