I just found your channel today. Not sure how you only have 435 Subs. Your videos look good and you have some great knowledge for the people that aren't experts in autographs. I have been collecting autographs since 1981. I just subbed keep up the great work!

Anyone buying an autograph need to really know that signature. I have lost count of the number of sellers I have contacted because they were selling either a secretarial Andy Griffith or an outright forged one. I think in the years of doing this maybe three contacted me to thank me and take down the item. One guy who actually had 99.9 % good stuff, but had a well-known secretarial Griffith blocked me! Positive feedback I agree is worthless in my humble opinion.

While I agree that ebay feedback is completely useless on the surface, it does help in limited cases if you know what to look for. There are legit sellers on there who are not super well known and don't participate in groups like RACC. I once attempted to vet a seller in RACC by sharing a link to a random item in their inventory - a Tom Cruise signed photo. I selected this item because it would be easy to find out from the group if it was a fake. I received almost no responses except some guy saying it looked like the same seller who was busted selling "these fakes" elsewhere. I held off on buying from this guy for a year because I had trouble vetting him and I watched his ebay feedback waiting for someone to report that their item either failed TPA or passed. It took awhile because most feedback is garbage and people just say "Great item!", "Great seller" but finally after a few months a buyer reported "Great seller, and by the way, my item did pass JSA". I now had a commitment in hand from the seller to honor TPA as well as the feedback from a buyer that something they bought did pass TPA. The feedback was helpful in this very limited case so I wouldn't say write it off as completely useless but be smart about how you use it to put the puzzle together.

there are 3 RACC dealers that have sold fakes so I wont buy from them. Same with Galaxy Con , they refuse a customer refund when they sold her a fake Mario Lopez (a sec ?)

“Hey friend, I need your help with something, please. I’m thinking of buying a football player autographed card, but the Beckett case says Beckett Witnessed. Does that mean the signature is authentic?”

"Beckett Witnessed" means that it was a private signing witnessed by a Beckett representative. You should be good to go. :-)

Sorry I know it’s not really related to this video. But was wondering if you have ever used galaxycon, celebrity authictics, or twin cites comics? Are they all legit? Also was windy how reliable swau/Beckett online/quick authentication is? I purchased some items from galaxycon and swau and Beckett said they weren’t real. Jsa told me they were. Again this was though submitted pictures and on through the mail

      1. Galaxcon and celebrity are pretty well known for legit private signing
2 swau/Beckett online is quick opinion and not a way to authenticate, you still need to send in the item for them to authenticate
3.Idk, I think 3rd party authenticators sometimes do hit and miss as they are also human

GalayCon, Twin Cities and Celebrity Authentics are all first person services... meaning their items were done in private signings conducted by them. So they should be 100%.
