Hello! Thank you, it was very interesting! I am from Russia, Saint Petersburg. In the 80s and 90s, I was very interested in the history of the development of the space programs of the USSR and the USA. I have a lot of books, stamps, and newspapers from the first decade of the space age in my collection. In particular, there are many articles from Soviet newspapers about all the flights under the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs. In the mid-90s, I wrote letters about my passion to John Glenn, John Young, Neil Armstrong, Sally Ride and Norman Thagard, asking them to send me an autograph as a souvenir. To my great joy, they all personally replied to me. I sent all the letters to the Houston Flight Control Center. The photos sent back to me were all with text on the back and in NASA envelopes. I am very grateful to the unknown employee of the post office in Houston who forwarded my letter to John Glenn in Washington. John Glenn sent me a letter on paper with a watermark of the U.S. coat of arms and a large black-and-white autographed photo. By the way, the envelope was the official one of a U.S. senator. Neil Armstrong's autograph can be viewed on my channel. Eternal memory to the pioneers of space. Good luck!

My Grandfather worked for NASA and was friends with all of the most famous Astronauts. I have folders full of autographed official NASA lithographs from the Apollo and Gemini era including autographs. I also have slides. Even though I know they’re real and can prove my Grandfather’s employment with NASA I would still like to have them authenticated before selling them. How do I go about this? Thanks so much!

Value will vary greatly depending on the pose. The White Space Suit portrait can sell for $1500+. Other poses are typically a few hundred dollars.

I have a chance to buy a PSA verified Armstrong, encapsulated. It’s an 8 X 10 for $1600. It’s an official lithograph What do you think? Signature is strong with personalized dedication. Thanks.
