I Built a Sports Betting Bot with ChatGPT

  • I gave ChatGPT $2000 to make sports bets with and in this video i'll explain how we built the sports betting bot and whether it lost it all or made a potential total of $9,049.44 after 24 hours. First, a disclaimer - Do NOT invest any money in any type of sports betting bot or algorithmic engine that you are not willing to lose. I gave this sports betting bot money because I was willing to lose money to make a great video for my AI Wizards out there. To be exact, it was $1915.73 after transaction & conversion fees, which it used to bet on NBA teams that it predicted to win. Each week i'm learning more on how to optimally prompt ChatGPT to help me build MVPs, and it's a skill i'd like us all to learn, which is why i made this video. The tools used in this tutorial are the The Odds API for live sports data, Python for Programming, the Twitter API for Sentiment Analysis, PyTorch for Deep Learning, and Vercel for live deployment. Let me know what you think in the comments and I hope you have a great day today. Enjoy!

I know I'm left wondering. He deleted the code for the AI bot he ultimately built and supposedly gave away off GitHub. But he left the coffee for the arbitrage bot up.
Also, I find an interview clip of him saying that this was for a marketing push for the odds bot he made. He's a fraud and a grifter.
I can't tell where exactly, but he definitely left it a step or two. Other people that tried to do this from the video said it doesn't work so he's not being legit.
This was just so he could get clout and make money with WagerGPT. He can keep it. I've almost figured this out for myself and when I do I'll give away the knowledge on here. Dude's a bum

@@Federicowitz. not sure who you're asking, but the problem with arbitrage betting (In my experience, and something I like to do) is that to get a true arbitrage on most websites you have to take advantage of some sort of booster promotion and they typically max your bet to around 50 or $100, that means a typical arbitrage, for me, only makes about 10 or $12 profit.

he is operating at warp speed and solving issue after issue. *Very* impressive. As someone who has spent a good chunk of the last 3 years working on a horse racing model and betting bot, seeing something put into action so quickly is amazing. The problem with sports betting is its not zero sum and 'The Crowd' is better at generating correct odds than any single person (or AI) can do. Arbitrage betting for sports betting has been 'a thing' for a long time and I doubt there's much life left in it. And worse, if you do win the sports books will notice and ban you.

@James Ravazzolo indeed you're correct about arbitrage. I used to do it back in 2014. I had accounts on about 10 different sportsbooks. I successfully arbed for just over a month before I got banned on all of the sports books apart from the betting exchanges (eg. BETFAIR) and books that specifically allow arbing (eg. PinnacleSports). I started with about $5k which was spread to be $500 on each site and by the time I got banned I'd made roughly $2.5k. If arb opportunities still exist, which I'm sure they do, it's definitely worthwhile doing it but just know you'll eventually get banned.

@@rabbiyosef6127 I do have the bot working, the placing bets part is not a complicated task. The hard (some say impossible) task is to come up with a repeatable system that can beat the crowd. • @jamesrav
      @jamesrav Год назад

@@JD-qo9wk as if the banning part wasnt bad enough, there are now enough websites connected to API's that get constantly updated odds to be make arbing almost impossible. And then that dries up and you're back to square one.

@@SirajRaval if you want to make it better? Focus on ingame/live betting.
I've spent 15,000+ hours working on my strategies and relentlessly improving them so I can create my own sports betting course 😊
I won't share everything but I do create and verify edges and if they hold up over years I'll add them to my course OR I'll keep them to myself.
This year I've been working on an nfl teaser strategy using +10pt teasers *because 6pt teasers are garbage and thats what people are taught to use by the "experts" 🤮 they teach you to only tease through "key numbers" and DONT tease through zero lol.
I ignored ALL of that *because you cant be successful doing what everybody else does* and my +10 pt teaser strategy went 13-5 72.2% from weeks 1-18 of the nfl season 🏈
      Over weeks 10-18 I went 7-2 77.78%
Anyways thats something simple im working on and that was borne out of a simple concept 💡
Everybody agrees that the nfl is sharp and hard to beat so how do you turn that weakness into a strength?
Anyways I wish I could help you out more but I will say I didn't spend 15,000 hours building a model from scratch? I spent that time figuring out how to use what was already there.
All my tools exist lol......I just spent 4 years figuring out how to use them as effectively as possible and continue to do so today.
Anyways I respect you spending 80+ hour weeks on your craft because when I first started for the first 2 years I was spending 15 hours a day, seven days a week on mine teaching myself how to bet on sports and figuring out what worked and what didn't.
Fast foreward four years and 15,000+ hours later and I STILL put in 8-10 hours days regularly creating, testing, & verifying my edges over years until i feel like their ready to be put into a program to sell.
Everything needs to be perfect including the marketing because I'll have to deal with these sports betting frauds taking my shit and claiming its theirs lol 😆 *so Everything must be planned out until launch*
Its gonna take several years but im hoping the value i provide will be worth it and the community will know what I tried to tell them years ago.......I will become one of the best sports bettors and they will remember my name 🔥🦂💯

The problem is I need to teach people without killing my own edges and thats very very difficult.
