It’s really too bad she wasn’t more intelligent … or at least intelligent enough to tell her son to take Mark Cubans offer immediately I think they really missed out and dropped the ball big time on this one…
Okay, it is impossible not to admit that Mark was absolutely amazing here, with literally translating everything into language the boy could understand.
I like how Mark tailors his comments and questions in a way that an articulate 11-year-old could understand. Using words like "Instagram" and "RUclips" instead of digital marketing, and asking "Where do you see yourself 2 years, 5 years from now?"
It's good, but honestly, also nothing special. Mark's fans love everything he does anyways!...😅 Lorie is the real star of this show because she is BY FAR the most friendly shark there is! She is also the most lovingly shark there is! That is something REALLY special in this cruel world! 🤗♥️ Mark is ok but like the other sharks (except for lorie) he also has a big ego and can be very arrogant/ mean sometimes.
Mark has emotional attachments to smart young entrepreneurs, and I feel he genuinely wanted to help. Sometimes, he does that, not because of business aspirations. He's hurt, but not because of the business side of the deal. It's about not getting the opportunity to work with and help develop this young talent.
His reaction when asked about girlfriend was something else, but when he asked the panel, how are you going to help my company? THAT's another level, and it said a lot about this young man's potential, 65,000 for a billionaire?
What Robert said at the ends is something to cherish about. "Wherever I go, half the people that come up to me are kids!" Damn! This show has literally tuned up the next generation in a good way 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
@AAilovemusic - 1. do you tend to (ahem) "exaggerate" much in daily life, too? 2. ask many rhetorical questions often? 3. what is so funny about your comment?
I love how Richard Branson dodged his question. He couldn't answer it obviously because he didn't know much about the business model or what the company needs, so he kind of BS'd his way through an answer.
I appreciate the help and respect from the sharks. The mother did an absolutely fantastic job making sure the very fine details were heard and that her son had a friend not a mom. The sharks were awesome. This is more than likely my new favorite shark tank episode. I laughed smiled and frowned. Haha❤️😂😂😮💨😭😭🤬
This boy, is intelligent and he's brave. "He's got guts". Not afraid to Richard B. a question like that. Even IF no shark would work with him. I have no doubt he can take his company to the top.
Im not sure what you're talking about lol. She just looked happy and proud her son is a businessman at the age of 11 and actually already is finding success in life pursuing his dream.
Keep in mind here, Richard Branson is worth over $3.5 billion. The richest shark in history, if I'm not mistaken. He see's a lot of himself with this kid's vision so I feel like he was the best choice - he has nothing substantial to lose even making a wildly generous deal.
I would have chosen Mark. Definitely more connected with sports. It would be easy for him to tell his buddies to buy for their kids. Besides in my opinion 😭😭😭 Richard didn’t answer his question about what he can do.
Richard Branson doesn't need to answer it. He will simply hire a full on team to focus on the business so he doesn't have to. That's how billionaires get S done.
@Cooofy - re: a) "I would have chosen Mark" b) "Besides in my opinion" 1. whose other opinion would you be citing?? 2. Mark "telling his buddies to buy for their kids" ?!? 3. does Mark have enough "buddies" to scale a business into millions in sales ?!?

This kids got an insanely good chance to go big. He's playing off something that's already wildly popular, by introducing a new iteration targeted at a specific age group. By skaters in school, for skaters in school. It's a convenience, and I know a lot of my buddies would've bought into this if it was around when they were in school.
I think Roberts deal might be the best for him. Get to scale, get an investment for way less equity (or more money) down the line. He is doing well and doesnt need to give up 20%. I would guess robert would still help him out even though he has no equity.
hes gonna be rich lol its awesome how his mom helped him yet let him handle himself and his dad helped open a shop..great supportive parents helping him go for his dream👍 smart motivated young man gonna go places.
I think using a child is a good way to get a deal on Shark Tank because they go so much easier on them regardless of the actual business revenue and profit margin.
I think "Everywhere" is a wise answer. How is he supposed to answer that at his age really? But he is willing to be explosive in his growth. I think that's the best answer he can give from his perspective.
Everything is possible! Always help your kids achieve their dreams. It's really awesome seeing boys this age creating new things or offering different options to an existing product. Way better than having them playing video games all day
Mark and Richard valued the company at $300,000 and $325,000 respectively. The company is listed for sale at $150,000 today (late 2024). The locker board website states the company is "retired".

I really love how the mother let her son do the talking and only helped out a little bit to strengthen his words. Great parenting!
Kinda interesting, it's more like: the profile of good parenting. We don't know how they prepared

Gotta teach them to not limit themselves to a scarcity mindset while they're young!
