Best Comment!
Lol.. Yup..
🤣🤣🤣
Welp. She just saved 4 years of high school. 4 years of college, and endless tuition. What a beast
What an impressive THIRTEEN year old!???? Wow! She’s a beast indeed!!
I bet this was an adults idea
@@melodygarrison7531 please most adults aren’t that bright! They tend to live the same day over and over again for years in an endless cycle of repeative bs working for another and never themselves ultimately never actually living at all and then teaching their own children to live the same way 😂 and with that comment you have proved to be one
I was thinking the same
@@eveevolution1607 lol it's a pitch by her parents who taught her she's just a show toy.
this 13 year old actually went out on this stage alone and even negotiated a fantastic deal with some millionaire partners. What an amazing future I cant even imagine how proud her parents must be
Complete Respect
Not only that but she’s also being broadcasted to millions of people watching. Very little people would be willing to do that for their company, yet alone a 13 year old
Admiration is too simple of a word to describe how I feel about this kid’s abilities.
We were with her in spirit!
Sure. Though I kind of see her parents behind her, making the calculations, telling her how much to counter offer (she was clearly trying to remember what was decided beforehand).
I'm not criticizing her, she's very self confident for a girl her age, but to me it feels like her parents pushed her forward because they were sure to succeed that way 🤷♀️
Plus the dance crew, come on. Clearly organized (not by her).
As a business student, I gotta say this girl knows a lot about business for her age. Her charisma, her negotiation skill and her ideas might make her a successful CEO at a young age when she gets older and wiser with experiences.
I agree, and think that somethings gotta go terribly wrong for her, not to become at least a millionaire. To have that business mind at such a young age is rare.
@@Jk-qx7gm Professor? Sheesh, I don’t know one of my lectures is stalking me on RUclips.

I can't think of a time when a youngster like her or even younger left without a deal..I think that they have an agreement to support young budding entrepreneurs..Which is really cool..Because success or failure it is a learning experience for them..Notice how Mark passed, but they all know Daymond and his socks, so Mark passed the ball to Draymond who is one of the best to make at pitch at because of his history of backing first-timers of any age..Loring also supports young women no matter how crazy the product might be..
There has been an evolving style of presentation over the years. Sophie is new at this so she didn't really tailor her pitch but it was always going to be Daymond for socks. In the early days people would make a generic demo just hoping any shark would bite. In recent years, though, entrepreneurs are much more likely to already have a specific shark in mind even before they go into the tank. Fashion - Daymond. Electronics or tech - Mark or Robert. Small household items - Laurie. Restaurants or anything that will require negotiating some sort of lease - Barbara. Licensing deals or residuals - Kevin. Each shark really does have a specialized expertise and more entrepreneurs are aware of that now.
I agree, it's also great PR for all the ST guys to be seen investing in youth. Not only that, but she's clearly incredibly talented. They now have that talent on their books. For such a small amount of $, it has huge upside.
While this may be true you need to keep in mind they are putting their money into this and I have no doubt that if they didn’t believe in the product they probably wouldn’t make an offer.
@@slchld.
Umm...They are making less of an investment for profit, they're investing in something else entirely..They are all Billionaires or close to it..To say that is "chump change" to them is laughable..1/2 an hour, or probably less, of interest on their other investments covers most anything..
@@MrReed314it’s a business and works the same as a bank. Go borrow money from the bank and tell them it’s chump change it doesn’t matter if they lose it. 13! This young lady is definitely going places. So impressed by her maturity, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills.
Great negotiation skills. Lovely to see the sharks friendly with this deal supporting the entrepreneurship.
Can you help me, as someone with little business knowledge, understand how she showed great negotiation skills? Originally she said 30K for 15%, they countered 30K for 33.3%, and she countered 35K for 25%.
@@ps7549 exactly dude ..
@@ps7549 Maybe a bit late but I'll try to explain it. She asked 30k for 15% so that is 30k/15=2k for each percent.
their offer was 30k for 33,3% so that is 30k/33,3= 900 or 0.9k for each percent
Her counter offer was 35k for 25% so that is 35k/25= 1.4k
So the final deal is of course lower than what she initially asked but it's ALOT higher than what the sharks offered. And getting such a large raise out of the sharks, who are seasoned business people, is really impressive.
Allso how her counter offer aknowledged that she sharks wanted a bigger stake in the company than 15% (because it gives them more influence) but upping the price because of that was a great move.
