Nice review and engine history! I like the light gray color scheme myself, it provides a nice contrast to all the dark colors found on most locomotives of that era! 👍🏻👍🏻
the original Norfolk Southern mainline runs about a mile from my home in Greenville NC so that railroad is special to me. love that model makes me long for a time machine
@@gizmotrains no worries wasn’t trying to correct. Just maybe adding info for any one interested in that part of the museum. Something we try to push it the “Transportation” side. It’s not just a train museum.
Yes the middle wheel is unpowered. And I hope when the NC museum is done with the restoration on 1616 I really hope they don’t keep that terrible grey and put the old red back on.

I hope model company’s don’t just do Norfolk Southern Diesels and also to their 2-8-4’s 4-6-0’s and 2-8-0’s
