Thank you so much for framing soft singing in a positive way. I have a soft voice and I have always felt insecure because of it and even felt like I wasn't good enough to sing just because I didn't have a super powerful voice. Also, you are amazing. I was told I have muscle tension dysphonia and I was dealing with vocal tension earlier just trying to do simple warm-ups. Then I came across your video explaining vocal bridge, blend and a warm up video of starting on descending scales and I thought it was genius! I've been struggling just to do warm ups because my voice would lock up and I would struggle to sing high notes that are ones I can hum fairly easily. Using your videos, it's the first time I've been able to warm up with no tension whatsoever. Lastly, thank you for mentioning in your video how just fear of your voice and letting your voice come out can create tension and lock up the voice. I really struggle with that but I'm trying to build confidence and embrace the unique voice I have. Your videos are entertaining. They make me feel comfortable to sing and to be able to understand concepts in a way I've never been able to from anyone else on RUclips. The proof of what an amazing teacher you are is how I literally have no tension in my voice! I'm floored. I thought it was just something I'd have to learn to live with or it was anxiety related but I'm starting to rethink I'm not at the mercy of the tension anymore that wants to emerge anytime I'm stressed and not even using my voice. You're awesome! I hope when I go to college and work with a voice teacher they will be as great as you.
