There's something about digging up an item that a person lost who's still alive and really special when it's something a grandparent lost that's still remembered by the family. Just an awesome dig! Thanks for the tag along Beau👍
That S shape thing on the side of the building,my dad told me they used to heat the connecting bar in the middle, then screw the S as tight as possible, then the bar would cool and shrink.I believe they used left and right hand threads,so they could orient the S and then turn the bar to tighten it.Cheers Chigg, love your work!
😃 Great place to find interesting stuff, especially with the spring and creek... I hope you get to go back there to search where you think another home might be. It'll be near the spring head, as I am sure you are well aware. 😁 I'd be wading in the creek looking for stone tools. 😺 Thanks for taking us along! 😏
Great video as always. The thing you said looked like part of a flashlight at 23:25 looks more like part of a lamp socket and the cut out you said was for the on off switch is for the switch you turn to turn the lamp off & on with.
I grew up about 10 miles from that farm and found quite a bit of silver including a few halves at that church in the background back in the mid 80's with an old Fisher 1220x Pro!!!!!
That looks like a spectacular place to metal detect, I'd have to setup a tent down by the creek and make a weekend of it. I love how you're giving the family back all the family things, i always do that too, whether they ask or not some items just belong with the properties they come from. Sweet finds
Nice part of a hunt Chigg, with some interesting finds, but you've left us in suspense! I liked the farm tractor that came into shot there for a few minutes. It looked like the 40-10 John Deere I used to drive on the farm back in the 1970's. It sure reminded me of the countless hours I spent driving that thing from dawn to dusk. Farm work is tough dirty work, but so rewarding. I do miss the farm, but not the chores. Nice of you to share some footage of the Amish fellow driving by. We don't have them out here. In fact the only way you would see a horse and carriage if is you went to one of our county fairs, interpretive centers, or old museum. Even then it would be a rarity, so I thought the fellow driving by was really cool. I love how the farm fields and big old barns look like something out of a Currier and Ive's painting or Christmas card. Such wonderful Americana. How lucky you are to be able to hunt such lovely places.
I know by now you have been corrected on the pc. that was to an old flash light. I think it went to a modern lamp. The metal jacket where you would screw the bulb into. Love your stuff and keep it up.
That Hempfield marked piece looks like the end of a key fob that could be purchased by high school seniors back in the day. Hempfield High School is in Lancaster County .
Great finds chigg. I'm curious about the spring area. I bet you found some good finds down around it. His dad will be surprised to see the old watch winder I'm sure. The token was a cool find to an the Merc. If he's found several arrow heads down around the creek, I'd be headed down there to. Thanks for taking us along on the adventure chigg. As always safe an happy hunting/digging.😁👍👍
I played the part of Toto in a 4H play. It was so much fun to reveal the "wizard" behind the curtain. Somehow I was able to crack the whole audience up. It was a foreshadow for my life. It seems that there have been any number of wizards needing revealing, hiding behind curtains.
Beautiful watch winder key 😍 I have not not found one yet, still on my bucket list. Looks like a beautiful hunting spot, hope ya find many more good finds 😀
We are having a winter bug issue here in the midwest too.its really weird, 20 outside and bugs flying around. and the 1904 worlds fair coin would look great in our st.louis history museum. im surprised that you found that in PA.
Hello my friend, beautiful areas to look for, beautiful finds - I cordially greet you from Poland and invite you to myself - recently I also found a beautiful silver bracelet
Looks like a great day of sunshine, good acquaintances, and a few interesting finds. I’d like to add, to the few commenters who reference finding Pennsylvania ballets..... brrrrap.
Michael, As Beau will tell ya, he ain't no cook, but he has recently posted some outdoor cooking with Captain Billy, fryin' up fish and camp chili. Take another look. His channel content has kept my interest for a good few years now. : )
Another awesome video in my neck of the woods. Almost looks like a farm near Tionesta Pa. Go grab up some of the Amish fresh eggs, butter ,bacon and pastries...Love and Light from Pgh Pa. (MawDuKeStheGoOdWiTcH🌎🔥🌊🌬️)
We are in Mifflin Co. but that day we were in Juniata Co. lots of old structures in Central Pa. if you look at old 1600 and 1700 maps of Pa you will see lots of settlement and French Indian war forts along a Susquehanna and Juniata River. We usually do colonial but in short notice couldn’t get on a 1700s for that day.

You are an awesome teacher. I owe a great deal of my defecting success to you my friend.

Good lesson on reading the topography of an area !
Thanx Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE see ya on the next

16:01 "Yard is very nice, we need to take good care of it." Cuts to huge clump of dirt dug up in very nice yard! HaHa. Love it Chigg! Keep 'em coming!
Great permission! That dude was so nice to turn y’all loose there. Happy digging!
Grew up in eastern PA. Mom and Dad did a good job of taking us places dealing with the revolutionary war.

The Chigg was in my state for a change! A lot of history still to be found here 👍🏻
Awesome video, beautiful country land. Craig was nice to let you guys search his property.

Not just any pendent ... you got these when you were inducted into an honor society... like Phi Kappa Phi... great find!
I was just watching a four year old video of yours and you chimed in! Awesome 👍 Tibbs

That souvenir from the St. Louis Worlds Fair reminds me of the famous movie "Meet Me in St. Louis".
That key item you found sure looks like a senior key, a pendant a student would get in high school or college. Thanks for sharing
Yes! You're totally right!
That Hempfield marked piece looks like the end of a key fob that could be purchased by high school seniors back in the day. Hempfield High School is in Lancaster County .
I think you're exactly right Craig
That part to a flashlight is actually the socket cover to a lamp with the 3way thumb switch on the side.
23:53 good place to check. Looks like a wagon/stage step up. Close to road. Near home. Far enough away to keep the horse smell....
Love seeing all your finds even if you call em trash

The first thing you found at the second house is a high school neckless. We wore them on a chain or hung them on our car mirror.
Glad to see you up here in PA. I’m in Upper Dauphin County in Central PA.
Looky! A great video

Chigg you're turning into a very interesting channel. I'm kind of hoping you throw in an "outdoors cooking" segment now and then.
He’s been interesting for years!

Welcome to PA
Awsome vidio guys
WOW! I went to Hempfield High School, now I am curious about his Dad's name. Judging from the find, I will say he is Class of "65 or "66.
That's a late upload 😬 midnight for me 😂
That piece of iron is part of a single tree for mules and such.
Good video
That cast iron thing could be a leg off a wood stove. Or maybe not. Lol
I came on here to say the same thing lol
@L F excuse me
The Chig needs a swig!
My first time detecting was on a old chicken farm and we didn't know it . We gave up after digging up around 100 chicken leg bands ..... Ha!
Yay chiggs local
He who yells at Aquachigger.....MEH!
Sunshine, Friends and lotsa Dirt to dig. It ain't all bad, is it? : )
I myself am from central PA, whereabouts was this dig again?
Hey Chigg and who all is with you
Damn, was that the dump truck from Pet Semetary? at 19:45...did you know Herman Munster (FRED GWYNN) played in that?? Did ya?
Chigg, you need to get a head mount for your gopro; it'll keep your hands free for digging etc.
Did you say Lindsay is a Vet? Me too.
Chigg, what size coil are you using and why ? Thank you
Muito bom amigo tô aqui ligado muito bom um abraço
It's good u got the lead out of the field
That looks like a high school class key.
Hempfield school district is just northwest of Lancaster, PA.
nice chigg!
that big iron "Ice cream cone" at the 2nd location looks like an old Iron stove leg.
Highly sought after. 'hand forged cast iron'.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I would have liked to see it cleaned up.
Never forger Beau Ominette
Nice I live in hempfield pa 5 minutes from high school.
What part of central PA may I ask? Im from central PA and didn't know there were good metal detecting areas nearby.

@Aquachigger can we see some short underwater drone footage in 4k
lots of single tree hardware, and I hope to find one of those civil war pepsi pull tabs some day. Just kidding I enjoyed the video.
We have the same shovel :)
16:35 is a stove leg from a kerosene stove maybe
Got any abandon house videos coming out soon? Those are my favourite ☺️
Yes, I think it’s a stove leg
Looks like your up near State College PA
Hemp field High School is about 20 mins from me
It's only awesome if we find Ricky.
You need to download the magnifier app for your phone
Are you near Lancaster?
I was just wondering Chigg, have you ever found a gold coin?
The cast iron piece looks like a stove leg.
Early
Lol. There goes a buggy.
We have Amish in Kansas.
Hey can anyone reccomend a metal detector for a first timer to pick up used on Ebay?
Hi Chigg
I worry that digging big round plugs will cause dead spots in the grass
I cut em big and leave a hinge....... Attached!!!!!
Don't feel bad I cut trees for a living and I find golf balls everywhere I go
Love that world fairs coin or token or whatever it is..lol
