Looking amazing! I like that he is paying it forward, by helping kids learn a new skill to keep them out of trouble. God bless. Our kids today need positive role models.
Ive used waterless and reduced water techniques for many years. If done correctly using little pressure and lots of towels you can achieve excellent results. As your guy states the chemical technology has moved on significantly over the past 5 years with new nano and polymer blends aiding this method. Just like your car shows. When I sold my last sports car, the new owner even thanked me for keeping it like new! All pretty much done using waterless techniques. A brave video for your channel Joe, as so many people think you have to pre-wash, snow foam and then 2 bucket wash etc all of the time... you simply don’t. If done correctly and carefully waterless and reduced water cleaning is very effective. Pleased you have made it. Keep up the good work. All the best.
Donald has been doing a great job using these techniques. No swirls or anything. Clearly you had positive results too. Thanks for your comments and support.
I've been thinking about switching to waterless detailing for a while. I've seen a few videos demonstrating it and I am now a believer. It's not only safe for the paint, but seems to provides the same excellent results I get with conventional washing, but doesn't waste water. Great video Joe and your GTS definitely still looks brand new.
It’s true - your car is spotless in your videos. I just figured you were a total OCD on the weekends! This is completely a new cleaning system to me. I still don’t understand how the dirt is not rubbed against the paint while being wiped off. Nonetheless, it appears to work beautifully. I need to move from carnauba wax to ceramic, for sure. Great video, as always.
I can’t totally understand it either but the results speak for themselves after all these years. I am OCD about the car and wouldn’t want anything to harm it. Thanks for watching!!
Hi Joe, you have my dream GTS. And you keep cars clean...just how i'd do em. Hopefully one day soon Ill have one like yours. That generation of 911 is timeless.
I’ve been using waterless car wash since 2015 when I bought my 2016 Porsche Cayman 981 (Mahogany Metallic) and have continued using it for my 2018 Porsche 911 Carrera (Miami Blue). I’ll never go back to regular washing with water. Nice video, Joe. Merry Christmas to you and your wife.
@@jonathanl2748 I use Adam’s Polishes Waterless Wash, as well as their Glass Cleaner, Detail Spray, & Wheel Cleaner. Over the years, I’ve used other companies products, but finally settled in with Adam’s. Any detailing products I get from them. Hope this helps.
@@18echosf Yes, sir. That is a big help. I actually thought that a waterless car wash was a myth. I will definitely try these products out. Thanks much!
@@jonathanl2748 Glad I was able to help a bit. Most of the YT detailers use a combination of Adam’s, Griots, and Chemical Guys products unless they’ve come up with their own formulas. I’ve tried products from each of those companies and settled on Adam’s as my choice. The main thing to remember when using waterless car wash is to use plenty of product to lessen the chance of micro-scratches. However, nothing is perfect and “everything” will scratch cars to some extent. But, I’ve been driving Porsches as my daily drivers for 40+ years and I just don’t obsess over the cleaning process. I’m now retired and still drive my cars every single day for pleasure. If I had to worry about every scratch or stone chip, I’d be driving a Jeep! Saying that, I do like my Porsches to look good and waterless car wash just works well for me. Merry Christmas!

wow, awesome to see such professionals take good care of a customers car. hope I can get lucky (first with the 911) and then to find good quality services like these folks. thanks for pointers Joe, also first time hearing about this method

This only works if the car is relatively clean in the first place. There is no way this would work for a muddy car. I’d like to see a close up of the paint with a swirl spotter light shone over it
What people don’t understand is the marketing and business aspect,of the detailing company, they dont want clients who drive 4 cylinder wranglers on half a inch of mud, they want to maintain high class luxury cars, basically they dont want you, they want the porsche,Ferrari guy, garage kept

does he do waterless even when your car is pretty dirty, like if you get caught in the rain? Are there swirl marks and micro scratches from this method that we are not seeing in the video?
Yes, he does the car when it’s filthy. We had snow and salty roads recently and as I write this, he is cleaning both cars. The cars are covered in white grit. I’ve not seen any swirl marks or scratches.
That Alcantara is just cheap looking IMO , it gets worn quick and just impossible to maintain after 5000 miles. Glad Porsche dumped them out in their options for a better version in Race Tex. Sweet GTS anyways !
Luckily the Alcantara on the seats and other surfaces in my car is holding up well. But I am so glad I have a leather steering wheel because Alcantara would NOT wear well on a wheel that I would keep touching with my hands. Alcantara would absorb oils from skin and wear out very quickly as you said.
Donald has cleaned both my GTS and my wife's Audi after they have been coated in road salt and grime from harsh winter driving here in the northeast. This cleaning method works even when the car is filthy.
When done correctly, with quality cleaners, a waterless wash will not do any more harm than a soap and bucket wash. As you may know, every time you touch paint to wash it, you the run the risk of scratching/swirling/spiderwebbing etc (pick your term). With proper technique and some wisdom of common sense this method is perfectly valid. Look at his wife’s car when they’re washing in the garage, the over head lights hit it and no visible swirls can be seen.

Donald does an excellent job!
What product do you suggest for someone who wants to maintain their vehicle themselves?
What’s your business name do you have a social media. I also do waterless
Waterless is way better idea than using water then putting the car back in the garage soaking wet with water dripping out of it
