Jesus, it's been 41 years since I first watched them on MTV. It's crazy how 41 years just flashed by. Man, the 80's, what a time to be alive. No matter how much our society has gone down the drain, I'll always have my memories of the 80's. If I had only one wish, I'd wish that my life could be put on repeat from 1978 - 1989 and live there forever. Those were the magic years for me. I lived them, I loved them, I miss them.

I'm sure everyone was thinking they were on a path? His guitar and the drummer made that sound, imho!

A Flock Of Seagulls I saw them live in the 80's and they signed my LP Album by the Band. Still have the record in mint Condition no scratches. i love this band.
I was there the 3 set Amazing! all musician and over the top the guitar and the drummer super cool ,so I hope this year I be there again , Thank you for this video well dome
A sound and guitar sound for eternity. Not much can compete with that!!! I would describe myself as a rock & pop veteran of the 70's and 80's. Here's a tip: Golden Earring "Kill Me (Ce Soir)" - also very underrated.

The band has gone through several formations since 1982, there were reunions with the original line-up, but it never went forward because of fights, which was the same thing that kept them apart, nowadays they are only the vocalist of the original line-up, but the band it is more united today than it was then.
Nobody in the comments seems to have noticed that the guitarist is from another legendary (in Canada) 80's new wave band as well. That's Gordon Deppe, lead singer of the band The Spoons (Nova Heart, Romantic Traffic etc..) They never broke outside of Canada, but were huge in Canada, as big as Flock of Seagulls themselves were. It's always strange to see these mash-ups of 80's bands doing the Casino tours always with a couple of original members mixed together.
@@beardedsparks2825 the guitar playing sounds almost identical.. even though the original guitarist died young, he was easily replaceable. He's not a Page, Beck, SRV, Gilmour, Hendrix,etc....shit, even when Ozzy had to replace Randy Rhodes because he died, they did just as well as Randy.
I feel the opposite, I think the band is really great here, but Mike is horrible and drags it down by not even attempting to sing, he’s just shouting the lyrics, it’s awful.

Sounds as if he barely learned the song 5 minutes before going onstage from some poorly played RUclips cover video.
I saw them (him) back around 2005, the guitarist he had back then didn't do nearly as good as this one, but the original guitarist was an absolute genius, and a teenager at that
