It’s hard to get the first belly drum off without him knocking you out
Ah yes, Rock Tera Infernape because the Great Stone Monkey Sun Wukong
Flying or fighting would make too much sense I guess
@@Leo.Galhardo Fighting would also be a Wukong reference because he's the Victorious Fighting Buddha Sun Wukong
Best strat for me was Fighting Tera Kommo-o.
Max HP and Def; Impish nature; Bulletproof ability; Shell Bell; Body Press, Iron Defense, Breaking Swipe, Noble Roar
Turn 1 - Noble Roar
Then wait for Tera charge reduction
Turn 2-4 - Breaking Swipe
Turn 5-7 - Iron Defense
Turn 8+ - Terastilize and Body Press until Infernape faints.
Sprinkle in heal cheers as needed.
Until Terastilization, Kommo-o is resistant or immune to all of Infernape's attacks.
This worked well. Only had to Heal once and was burned the whole time, but it didn't matter. Thanks for posting!
worked like a charm. tried only once on both games.
Well, I'll be. Thanks for the build, worked like a charm on my end
Didn't have to heal at all, works significantly better than Iron Hands.
I have full HP. I use bellydrum, I get hit with an attack before bellydrum is used, I go to use drain punch next and get hit with an attack and knocked out before I can attack. This has happened every single time I've tried this raid, except the one time I just used drain punch over and over and nothing else. Using drain punch and nothing else has been the closest I've gotten to beating this raid.
Make sure you're iron hands has adamant nature. Mine had lowered spec def and I was losing because of that.
I used cheer/heal up after belly drum because it's always first.
Try adamant drain punch bulk up annihilape fighting Tera type, full attack evs then split the rest between hp and defense I did it on my second try. only reason I lost the first was bc of crit
Probably would use the Metronome item if your spamming Drain Punch
I was thinking of using IH, but I found it a bit easier to use Kommo-O. Nice showcase, though!
Highly recommend fishing for an AI Bellibolt. Was getting outsped and couldn’t bellydrum but once Infernape got paralyzed it was game over for him.
I slayed this raid with Kommo-o first try.
Yeah, you need some good RNG to take Infernape down with Iron Hands.
to this day i still never made an iron hands build and have still managed with all of the raids
Infernape 2HKOs Iron Hands with Grass Knot after one Nasty Plot, making this one very hard to pull off.
only if u dont heal from drain punch or dont have ur stats right. THat happens in this video and u can see i survive one post nasty plot grass knot just fine, and there is no case where a second one would be coming before i heal from drain punch
It’s not letting me use drain punch for a quick recovery after belly drum
@BLAINES I have my Iron Hands set up EXACTLY the same as yours. I keep getting two hit KO's before I can get off a drain punch after using bellydrum. I use bellydrum at full HP but get hit before it gets used then I get hit and knocked out before drain punch gets used. Or I'll have full HP go to use drain punch but get hit first before it can go off and then the move fails.
I solved this raid with Bulletproof Kommo-O now. That was way easier.
@@theanystrom2882Not exactly. Too bad we didn't get to know the numbers, bur see how he is almost killed at 3:24. Small differences such as nature or not being hiper trained makes you death for sure there. I had to change nature and use a heal cheer to survive that.
The flare blitz crit at the end gave me a heart attack lol
Thank you. Other than after belly drum I used cheer/heal up, I did what you did and it worked.
Koraidon works too. I didn’t even trained mine because of how easy this raid is.
Ironhands and Annihilape still require some RNG luck. 22 attempts with Annihilape and no win. 6 with Ironhands before things lined up just right. Kommo-o apparantly is a good reliable build.
I suddenly have a random feeling that the staters for Legends ZA will be Snivy, Chimchar, and whatever the next 7 star raid starter is (I hope Totodile)
Tried Iron Hands, ended up giving mine the Metronome item as I spammed Drain Punch. Definitely needs good AI just to be on the safe side
To anyone dying with iron hands despite the same setup just ditch the shell bell and use a Sitrus berry
I keep getting knocked out after using bellydrum before I can attack again
Will you start covering Possibly leaks and news for Pokémon games etc again? They were informative compared to other channels. Riddler Khu seems to have something for the next installment...
Koraidon finish it for me with drain punch and sword dance
Doesn't work effectively. For me he opens with flare blitz, it plays out the same but sometimes he also spams multiple grass knots in a row. Here's an example he cleansed everyone, flare blitz'd me, I belly drummed but because IH speed is non existent he attacks again and KO's you then nasty plots and that that point you ain't doing it. I'm going to try other people's ideas.
Edit: Kommo-o body press worked perfectly.
We do get 2 hit ko cause you never atack before being 252 hp 252 atk 4 speed. If you pay atention to the video, he is slower than infernape (at least) in the first turn so, if yor allies dont make him slower than u, you wont hit before him in any case.
I would love if the pokemon blaines says is the best for the raid would be traded through the bots till the raid ends
Whenever I use Belly Drum I get one-shot by whatever Infernape had on its sleaves. How can I prevent this?
I got it. Don't terestalize on Belly Drum, but Belly Drum before terestalizing. That did it on the third try.
@@Leto85 thank you it worked
I forgot what was the build for Iron Hands
This does not work at all, he kills me with 2 grass knot
He shudnt be getting 2 off before u heal from drain punch
@@BLAINES i had to group up lol dont worry i will keep trying to solo it
Yeah, I've tried multiple times now with this exact set up. I can't get a Belly Drum off without getting KO'd. ._.
Double check ur evs and ivs
Dude why Iron Hand?! I tried it and every time it one-shot me with the Nasty Plot+Aura Sphere combo.😂
because he doesnt think
RNG is wreaking my IH
Already beat him with fighting tera Koraidon.
ye man its easy im sure there are plenty of ways
Is it that easy dang
@@jaiplier not really,it took some tries. I best recommend giving it the metronome and spamming rock smash to chip away at defense, then after terastylizing, just spam drain punch.
@@brockschannel3927 I'll have to try that
@@jaiplier best recommend maxed out attack and HP. Obviously.
-has pokemon scarlet
-doesn't pay for Nintendo switch online
-sees 7 star raid infernape
-looks up guide
-iron hands is needed
😐
Use Koraidon or Kommo-o. Basically any strong fighting pokemon that resists fire and has access to drain punch will do fine here.
Just use pokemon home
I used Annihilape and Sneasler
Easiest 7* raid yet 😭
I got him with Gliscor
Can anyone help me beat this raid? Infernape is my favorite pokemon. Just need a link code since I don't have switch online
Way easier solo. Forgot to even terrestrialize. Don't mind an easy raid, but this was child play
I used hariyama 😊
Could you do a vivillon giveaway on Pokémon scarlet and violet please
My anniahlape: hold my beer
how do i get the shiny 6iv iron hands? i clicked the link but idk where else to look
