Yeah, son. I just finished Breath of the Wild yesterday. It's really as magical as the trailers make it out to be. All around wonderful, almost like playing a Studio Ghibli film.

These trailers were fantastic, especially the final one. So glad to be hyped up for a Zelda game cuz it feels like it's been a while. And then Ganondorf... Huge highlight. Definitely cannot wait to get this game
11:26 Exploring is my favorite things about the game! There is no time limit, and you have a giant world map of places to see, so you can just do whatever! There are tons of mini side quests that characters on the road give you. There are also these little creatures called koroks that hide throughout the world and give you seeds if you find them. There is an achievement goal for finding 900 of them. So you can literally just choose to ignore the main story for as long as you want to.
One thing I'll say about the final Tears of the Kingdom Trailer is that it finally convinced me that'll I'll pick up the game day one. Not that I was not going to get it eventually but I was rather indifferent to it and I have to be in the right mood to play this type of game. Zelda breath of the wild is such an amazing game. It's great seeing the trailers again. Can't wait for the sequel Zelda tears of the Kingdom. It's going to be awesome. Great reaction.
As someone who can remember playing Zelda on the original NES back in the day, Breath of the Wild was such a treat to play. Not only is to fun to come up with your own approach to dealing with enemies/obstacles, it was also great to gradually learn the backstory, the connections between the characters, but most of it all it was just so much fun to explore the world. I can't think of another game (including big open world games), that was just so much fun to go all over the world and see the sights as Breath of the Wild was. I can't think of another one where I would look forward to just getting to see and know the world like I did here, or be so curious what the view would look like from the next hill or mountain, or to jump into a cave, or to see what was around the next corner or river on the map. Even if you don't care at all for adventure or combat, there's a lot in it that is of interest and is worthwhile to see and do.
Honestly if you want to know more lore of legend of Zelda there are videos that go over the timeline. It's really helpful since after ocarina of time it gets kinda convoluted if you don't have a lot of info on the series
I'm absolutely stoked for Tears of the Kingdom. I have about 1,500 hours in Breath of the Wild. And Beth is right, while there's a main quest to follow, you can absolutely just go anywhere, with no penalty. Hell, you can go straight to the castle and face the final boss. Breath of the Wild is meant to be a new beginning. It's not part of the main convoluted timeline, even if people believe it takes place at the very end of the timeline. There's actually a prequel and sort of sequel to Breath of the Wild, called Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. I can make a playlist showcasing the trailers and gameplay for you. It's very different to the conventional Zelda games, but a hell of a time. Let me know and I'll set that up for you. Im glad you're getting into Zelda. Always here to give you details, info into my favorite franchise.
I really hope you all do get to play Breath of the Wild. There is so jam packed that they couldn't show on the trailer, and yet didn't spoil anything when the trailers did come out.
The lore of Zelda is pretty wild here. As you see here they’re not the same Link,Zelda and Ganondorf from the first game. They’re reincarnations of their past selves, and each of them carry the triforce with them. This new Zelda takes place in a far distant future of Zelda’s timeline. There’s a chronological order of each games with respectable timelines.
Breath of the wild is honestly a game that everyone who loves games should try play at least once. the freedom you have in any given situation to find a solution and have it work is.... its amazing. its one of the few games where if you think it its possible, more so than any other game ive played. and as for story.... i wont spoil you guys but as you can see in the trailers its very compelling if you're interested in it. tears of the kingdom is the direct sequel and if its anything like the first it will be amazing as well. i highly recommend playing breath of the wild..... casual player or fan alike i think everyone should experience the fun gameplay of this masterpiece :^)
I have to say that Nintendo need to make a Legend of Zelda movie as it would be so epic and awesome to see on the big screen 😄 it can tell a story of a young man being a noble townsman to becoming a knight as Link’s journey is so big and adventurous to watch. Also congratulations on getting more subscribers and making your channel grow so much. I am glad to be part of it and I can’t wait to see more content on your guys channel 😁
@@raveouscarlias4479 true friend and I hope it be a great movie. 😄 also I hope it won’t be a miss leading role like Nintendo done that April Fools joke a while back
First thing that comes to mind when I think of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is: I hope Darude - Sandstorm makes a return. Those who know.. you know why. xD
Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity (Which is an alternate timeline of the events before Breath of the Wild), and Tears of the Kingdom are all one storyline I would go over the lore but even skimming over things it would take way to long, I don't know if there is any lore videos on Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity but there probably is so I'd suggest giving them a look. The story in the normal timeline is so damn depressing which even thought the alternate timeline is not it makes it all the more sad.
That "Cerberus Dragon" is actually from the original NES game. It was a boss in a few of the dungeons. They've made the graphics look a little better these days :D
Breath of the Wild is basically Nintendo's idea of reinventing Zelda's original goal of free-roaming and open-ended exploration and player expression. You can think of it as a spiritual successor to the original Legend of Zelda.
Him saying "Excalibur" to the Master Sword was a little heart-breaking, not gonna lie XD. But hey, they watch so much stuff I can't blame 'em for not knowing all there is to Zelda.
If you are interested in the lore of this and other zelda games (and games in general) I would totally recommend The lady of lore she does amazing videos about all sorts of games they are really informative and fun. Much love from Portugal!
I've long *enjoyed* the Zelda series but wasn't really especially a "fan"...until BotW. It has such an intense feeling of nostalgia, not for other games in the series but for the sense of being a kid, of everything being new and alive, of discovery around every corner. I've played other open world games and they don't have that same sense to them.
well at least Beth will be able to play some of the classic games if you are willing to get it, but i will be happy to get Tears of the Kingdom when it arrives as i started with Ocarina of Time
This game is going to be so fun. I've also heard that the demon king Demise and the goddess Hylia is going to make an appearance in this game too, and this might be the final zelda game because the curse that Demise placed on Link and Hylia will finally break so no more cycle of fighting between link, zelda, and ganondorf but that's just what I've heard
If you want to play tears of kingdom, I would start with botw first if you havent played it yet. It would make more sense if you want to know the story
Oh boy, what a time to be a Zelda fan. This trailer was amazing! It had a whole bunch of musical easter eggs, from the main zelda theme (twice), to Zeldas theme (twice as well), to Breath of the wilds main theme to finally Ganondorfs theme. Also from Age of Calamity (a zelda spin-off/non-main-line game from 2020) the title/map theme (also twice). A lot of which was shown just looks absolutely crazy, i cant wait to check it all out. The three headed dragon is called a Gleeok, and its a boss/enemy from one of the first Zelda games ( i cant remember which one though), so cool that they're bringing back more and more classic enemies.
Ken's wide eyes reaction and him whispering "Ganondorf" *chef's kiss"
Gonna be the greatest game of the year
Did you see the other tears of the kingdom trailers? You would have missed several important hints and thematic beats
Honestly if you want to know more lore of legend of Zelda there are videos that go over the timeline. It's really helpful since after ocarina of time it gets kinda convoluted if you don't have a lot of info on the series
Did you recognise Matt Mercer as the voice of Ganondorf?
Was that confirmed finally? I remember the second trailer that speculation was wild, but no one had anything to confirm it.
@@captin3149 yep
@@captin3149 yeah he confirmed it on Twitter a few days ago
The final trailers of both games are the best
Try it once promise me😏
Do you guys do requests or suggestions for reaction videos?
Ya gotta play the games brah
oh god i am so dang excited for the game!
Breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom are by far the best trailers I have seen in the past few years
Blows my mind how they actually were able to do a better trailer than the final trailer for BOTW
So happy Ganondorf is back babyeee
You guys should watch the Memories from Breath of the Wild, unless you plan on playing it.
Wow I've never been this early! Awesome reaction!
I really hope at some point you guys choose to play Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom!
id pay money to watch you guys play Majoras mask
Can y’all react to more Skyrim lore
I have to say that Nintendo need to make a Legend of Zelda movie as it would be so epic and awesome to see on the big screen 😄 it can tell a story of a young man being a noble townsman to becoming a knight as Link’s journey is so big and adventurous to watch.
Also congratulations on getting more subscribers and making your channel grow so much. I am glad to be part of it and I can’t wait to see more content on your guys channel 😁
They might finally do it now that they made a Mario movie that performed so well. We'll see.
Those who know.. you know why. xD
Breath of the Wild, Age of Calamity (Which is an alternate timeline of the events before Breath of the Wild), and Tears of the Kingdom are all one storyline
I would go over the lore but even skimming over things it would take way to long, I don't know if there is any lore videos on Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity but there probably is so I'd suggest giving them a look.
I wish they didn't make zeldas hair short
You missed a direct with Aonuma that explained what you were looking at in regards to abilities and the mechs and whatnot.
How dare you call the Master Sword Excalibur?!? The Master Sword isn't that poser sword. lol
Yo did they really say 195k subs. They gained 1k in six hours that’s amazing
You should watch Halo remember by sodaz it’s a great video you will like it 🎉
This made my day
Watch the final fantasy 16 state of play
Him saying "Excalibur" to the Master Sword was a little heart-breaking, not gonna lie XD. But hey, they watch so much stuff I can't blame 'em for not knowing all there is to Zelda.
To be fair, the reason The Master Sword exists is because of Excalibur/the sword in the stone legend
@@halosaft Fair enough.
Can you guys please react to the Horizon Forbidden West Burning Shores Launch trailer
That Guardian in the first trailer.
I’m glad that they’re not like that.
this might be one of the best trailers I've seej
Hey, any chance you're gonna react to the FF16 State of Play from the other day?
well at least Beth will be able to play some of the classic games if you are willing to get it, but i will be happy to get Tears of the Kingdom when it arrives as i started with Ocarina of Time
I recommend the FF 16 state of play next!
When you get a Switch, would you guys consider playing Breath of the Wild and then afterwards Tears of the Kingdom?
Don’t forget about all deaths in Friday the 13th by The Wolfman’s world
You should probably be careful nintendo are going around mass striking channels at the moment
Yes this version of Zelda and Link have definitely seen some shit lmao
