That part there at the end past the restrooms is perfect because I sleep in a recliner so I would put two recliners back there and you could still use the top bed bunk for sleeping with the two recliners on the bottom so that would be swell plus plus plus plus thank you for the video
Cool! And if need be that could be made into a bunk situation in back, just throw a cot or memory mattress down. Bikes could still be hauled inside, but put out once at camp, to set up the extra sleep spot.
As some one that likes to travel to dog shows and show my dogs, this camper would be perfect! You could keep the dogs crated in the rear while traveling. The bed could come down and dog crates could stay under the bed at night! Nice for a couple that is showing or maybe 2 friends that are showing! Really like it!
Honestly I don’t understand why people would do a camper van over this. The amount of extra space you get is unreal! The footprint is a little bigger but really by how much? And as a RV School instructor I honestly don’t think driving and parking a B vs a B+ is really any different
Different strokes. Some people want to be as compact and nimble as possible and a true class B offers that. This class B+ (officially classified as a C) is more for full timers or slow travelers who need more space. Personally, I'm still undecided between the Cross Trail and the Beyond. I like them both for different reasons, but I'm leaning toward the Cross Trail since I'll be traveling full time and really could use the extra storage space. The Beyond does seem to be of higher build quality, though.
1) price- many van lifers are in used vans that used tio be work trucks 2) Structural integrity- there are horror stories about water intrusion in the house side of these kinds of units.
Been looking at one of these for a while. Love the 25’s new look! It’s perfect for a traveling contractor. All of your tools stay locked up inside, out of sight out of mind.
When did manufacturers stop putting the bed over the cab? No slide, i definitely need more information on this unit! I would like to see the elevated bed lower, how far down does it go? Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video.
I ride a recumbent trike which is almost 34 inches wide and this was one of the only vans in the US that came with a European style garage wider than a bicycle. This year several more have been added including the Coachmen Euro LE that I like more. The 20XG is great for a solo traveler, but the bed becomes a crawl over for a couple. I kind of don’t like dinettes and would love to see a version with couch with a Lagun mount table, or a flip and fold setup like in the Solis 36B that could configure to a dinette or couch for two, or four
It makes into a bed so you can lounge and watch TV comfortably. But it is the bed that gives me pause. 51 inches in width is too narrow for a couple I think.
Cassette toilets that they use are alway a nonstarter for me, I prefer the Ford chassis and all wheel drive capabilities though. I wish they would change it to a regular black tank , I would buy it.
Would love if they made a version with more sleeping, like the cab over bunk. I guess you could put a bed down and make the back into bunks? Have been looking for aomething like this with room enough for 4 kids and two adults
So this is basically a price point product. The need to make and meet a certain MSRP by using cheaper products and hoping that it sells well on the market. It’s not a bad strategy, but it won’t draw in second RV buyers. If anything it’ll hurt the mid to upper price B models.
Why do you call this a class B? It arrives as a cut-a-way chassis and they build the box and attach it. I have a class B. This is much larger for sure. Keep up the great vids! We enjoy them.
Just checked the Coachmen RV website and they are referring to the the Cross Trail motorhomes as Class C. Not Class B. Not sure I agree with that as I always thought Class C had a bed over the Driver and front passenger seats. Some of the Cross Trail models they show do have an overhead bed but not all.🤔🤷♂️
1) Wouldn’t that be considered a class B+ RV? 2) I’d like to correct/clarify you about the sounds from the rail yard behind you. While I’ve never been to where you are, I am a railroader. The sounds you are hearing are coming from what we call retarders in the industry. I’m betting you are by a hump yard. Engines will push the rail cars over a hill (hump) and a Switchman will pull the pin lifter on the car at the top of the hump, and gravity will send the rail car down the hill. The car will go through what is called a retarder which slows the car down to a safe speed and the computer will throw the switches on the tracks to send the car to the correct tracks for building the trains for their destination. It is a very noisy environment for sure and the sound carries. If you think it is loud where you are, try working next to it; it can seem deafening at times. Best to wear ear protection for sure. 3) Thank you for the video. I enjoy your channels.
Ram has a battery drain issue in many models and of course the decline in Ram quality. Not a fan. Mercedes has a Mercedes maintenance cost issue. Anemic performance but reliable I have not seen many ford chassis. Being on the service side I attribute that to them being new and low volume compared to the other 2 but I see plenty of new of the other, while mostly RV related issues not chassis issues but lots of chassis batteries for the Ram. Nobody has an easy chassis disconnect now, I know Mercedes did away with it because the diesel emissions have problems if shut down too soon but no reason for the gas not to have
Don’t flush the toilet while your partner is showering. I would like to see mechanics from the dealership showing viewers the attributes of these RVs to customers instead of a superlative speaking salesperson showing me what I can see for myself.
It's technically a class C. Many call them B+. But that's a minor detail. Your videos are excellent.
It can make a difference, booster RV lot at my alma mater is limited to A and C only. This would qualify because the registration is Class C
This is a Winner for Coachmen.

@@AUSSIE2ful that was my thought also….
My thoughts exactly…this is the only RV I’ve seen that would meet my needs for my dogs!
I'm with you, I like it, form & function at a reasonable price point.
Honestly I don’t understand why people would do a camper van over this. The amount of extra space you get is unreal! The footprint is a little bigger but really by how much? And as a RV School instructor I honestly don’t think driving and parking a B vs a B+ is really any different

@ personally I’d rather take say a 16ft box truck and convert it. Much more interior space.
Been looking at one of these for a while. Love the 25’s new look! It’s perfect for a traveling contractor. All of your tools stay locked up inside, out of sight out of mind.
I really like it! Very nicely done!
I would put my computer desk under the bed raising it up during the day and lower it down just above the monitor for sleeping.
I really like that floor plan for a class B. Nice find :)
❤it. My local dealer has one coming and will test drive & purchase as soon as it comes in. That’s the plan.
Like the layout
Love this floorplan, this is the best Ive seen for me. Will try abnd find a dealer near me to see one in person.
Exceptional presentation. Thanks. Love my and ford mid roof diy shorty transit.
Cool to see that class motorhome built on a Ford Transit T-350HD chassis that's a unibody construction for the first time
It starts as a cab chassis. It's a Class C, not a Class B. I do like it.
My goal to own one❤❤❤
Cool layout. Surprised they cheaped out on the cabinet doors. Also needs a solar system, IMO.
People have complained about the cabinet hardware pulling out after a short time. Otherwise it is much improved from the original version
The rear area is perfect for dog crates….only RV I’ve seen that would work for those of us who travel with dogs….
I like paint job outside
It would be nice to have the flip out windows vs sliding.

Love this!
cheap cabinets that don't even look like they latch reminds me of buying furniture made out of particleboard
I'd use the bottom half if rhe bed area for a closet.
Love the layout of this RV. Would like to know what they go for $. 👍
It's close!

Try a Small Class C like the Freelander 21RSS
If it only had double pane windows...

What are the cheaper parts?
It’s a CLASS C bro
Ya sure RV but besides the pricing where would I park it lol in the parallel or parking lot lol they’re only legal on camp sites on parks

Any idea what this will list for?
Loaded out with 400 watts of solar and a huge lithium battery Bank of 800 amps plus the dual fuel generator is around 140 k net.
❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

Class C is built off a cutaway chassis, Class B is built in a factory body. Class A is built on a frame/chassis with zero OEM bodywork
Traveling in an RV and staying in a hotels..why?
Cost?

Say, chassis, one - more - time

Not a class B though ...
More garbage from the rv industry.
Yeeaaa looked a lil cheap on the offerings
