I bought the Consevisen Electric Baby Nail Trimmer/File for a new mom-to-be and she LOVED it. She found it incredibly convenient and easy to use. Her daughter is now at the age where the nails are a bit harder to manage because she's a little squirmer. However, she's able to still use this while her daughter is AWAKE! It actually makes her giggle because of the vibration. This plus the baby-safe nail polish I gave her has led to bonding time with mom and baby mani/pedis! 💞

I’m due in December with my 3rd but my youngest is 5.5 so I’m having to buy everything again. I’m in the uk so I dunno if there’s a difference in products. One thing that I look forward to using again, is a cover for the shopping trolley seat. I had one with my youngest and it was so handy, I didn’t have to worry about him chewing on the handle, it had a buckle which was handy as some shops here have trolleys without a seatbelt strap. It had a Velcro pocket at the back which I would put his snacks in 😂 it had a plastic hoop for attaching toys to. I got so many compliments about it.

On the change pad, I used puppy pads instead of a cover! They’re absorbent so pee won’t just pool underneath the fabric, easy to clean up, affordable, if I doesn’t get wet then I can just reuse it, and protects from the coldness. Very useful for new born twins 😂

I know it's probably not easy to get all of you in one video, but I would love to see more. Also, I admire your relationship with your family and how close you all are. Three kiddos here!
    1. I mostly use the nursing pillow for tummy time.
    2. I too have a wipeable changing pad now as a replacement for the original and it is so much better.
    3. I have that same exersaucer thingy and love it. They are controversial but mine all hit normal mobility milestones and it’s a great way to keep them safe and entertained for a bit.
    4. Never used a bottle warmer as they are so slow. We do a quick brew of hot water from the keurig into a bowl and dunk the milk in that.
    5. Used many different bibs. None have been perfect thus far.
    6. I also hate the suction bowls as they never stay. I too just take my chances with regular ones, or better yet plop food right onto the tray then wash it.
    7. I have the Ubi diaper pale and haven’t used it in ages as it once got gross and no matter how much I clean it it just immediately goes right back to gross.
    8. Considering getting the elephant sprayer. I think my kiddos would love it.

As a plus sized momma that had to use nipple shields, a nursing pillow was a must. Both my kids preferred the football hold, so I didn't have the dexterity to support their head, hold my breast back so they could breath around the shield, and support their weight. I had a lot of struggles with nursing both my kids, but the boppy was something I could always rely on for at least making positioning easy. I don't have experience with other brands, but I would highly recommend getting a nursing pillow if you are a larger lady.

I have the Little Martin’s electric nail trimmer and it works well. There are different toppers depending on the baby’s age because the strength of the mail changes. After an error with the regular nail trimmer that we never wanted to experience again, the electric trimmer is great! You just have to be sure it’s moving in the correct direction and angle it properly.

I love the hatch, turning it on or off by app is one of the best features. They also now sell a travel version that’s rechargeable. The boppy is also great for tummy time or sitting/lounger. The my breast pillow is better for breastfeeding. For heating up bottles just put the bottle in a cup with hot water from the tap, takes a couple of minutes. I have the same change pad as Rachael and I never use covers, I use the pad on its own and it cleans just fine. The obbi diaper can, you use regular garbage bags and it contains the smell pretty good.

Our little boy loves watching his nails being trimmed and zero complaints or injuries. It kinda stops when you apply too much pressure or touch the file head. I recommend it to every new parent!

Okay, Lo's rating on the first one of 7.5 that she actually really liked makes me want to mention what companies use as the rating scale if you fill out something like a survey about the customer service. 9-10 are positives, 7-8 are neutral, 6 or lower are detractors. Before I learned this, I would've agreed with Lo in terms of what those rating numbers should mean, but once I learned how those ratings are used within companies, I realized I need to get in line with that rating system so I didn't unintentionally get some cashier in trouble or something if I gave a rating based on my version of a 10 scale rather than based on how a company will interpret the 10 scale.
Not that your ratings have anything to do with this really, but I wanted to mention it because it was a shock to me.

    • @lilannegirl03
      @lilannegirl03 10 месяцев назад

I love the electric nail file specifically for babies. Their nails are so tiny and they're so squirmy that it's way too easy to accidentally clip their skin on accident with nail clippers. As they get older I used a regular nail file but it's for sure a game changer for babies!

I have considered the bath elephant for a while, and now I might have to purchase it! But the NAIL FILE is one of my faves. Use the right grit head (mine has 3 different grits) and it takes two seconds to get a nail done with no stressing about hurting little ones. Also, my husband struggles with it, and I think if you file your nails then you can use this on a baby.

I registered for a 3 pack of covers and I just toss the dirty cover in with our sheets. I only ever used my (off-brand) boppy for tummy time with my son, cause he was bottle fed and for bottle warmers, I used the Dr. Brown's bottle warmer. I didn't care for the measuring cup that came with it, but it did get the bottle to the exact temp you needed it to be. I think the one y'all showed would be a million times better! This was a great video! As a mom of 2 I rated along with you all! For us the second time around, did not use a changing pad (ended up changing the 2nd baby with the pad from our backpack and in whatever room we were in) or diaper pale (garbage can works so much better!), and didn't use a bottle warmer (never had the right temperature and they got so dirty!

I have the hatch and my babe-o loves listening to the ocean sound it has. Also bought the elephant for the bath tub from a previous video that was posted on your channel and my newborn loves this part of his bath. So much easier to use than the cup

32:47 For my grandkids, when they were in strollers, I used a backpack with netting on the side for bottles or drinks. We used carabiners to attach the backpack to the stroller. Just a suggestion 😊 from Ohio🇺🇸

Don't judge until you try it. We used disposable pet potty training pads as a changing pad. They are thin so you can fold them up and take them anywhere. They absorb if there's any accidents and then instead of laundry you just throw it away. Game changer!

I have a globally disabled child, and the electric nail files really make a difference, some brands come with different "heads" for the age of the child, so if it wasn't one of those it could've been too dull of a grit? I guess to do what it should do. I will note it does take some time to the trims down, like angle-wise and such but I also think we have added time because he's past the 12mo mark. >< I used to sneak into his bedroom like a nightninja with a headlamp flashlight and try to trim his nails to avoid a meltdown, but now I can do my nails, and then his nails, and he tolerates it much better. Maybe this might help someone on the fence - maybe not but thought I'd share!
Lo is also right about the board thing being better for the legs for the exceriser bouncer thingy!

They were talking about changing things in the middle of the night and that reminded me of something that has been such a time saver with my kiddos. I have two mattress covers for each kiddo and I put on one then the sheet and then another cover and sheet over that. That way if there is an accident or leakage situation in the night you just pull the top sheet and mattress protector off and let kiddo go back to sleep on the sheet and matress cover that's already on the bed. 🥰

My baby is eighteen years old now 😂 but I still enjoy hearing about baby products. Many of them are ones I used, so they've stood the test of time. I think the main thing I learned was that I had way too much stuff that I didn't need. I'd like to think if I'd had it to do all over again, I would have simplified, but let's face it, I still would have bought all the things. 😅😂🤣

My son loved his boppy… he is 14 and we finally had to give it up last year. He used to use it to rest his head and neck on when he played video games. I hardly ever used it as a nursing pillow, but he loved it as his curly up body pillow when he was little. It was like his safety blanket and it everywhere with us. He is the one he let go last year and I have to say mom (me) had a hard time letting it go.

I had the Keekaroo Peanut too….and they have great resale value. 2 years later and post potty training I resold for $40. And it can slide under your couch/bed. Definitely buy this! And buy a silicone placemat with catch pocket. Folds into a super small size and a clean place for your baby to eat and catching all the bits. Food fairs, restaurants…your friends kitchen table..life changing

As a first time new mom, we’ve definitely gotten quite a lot of things people swore by that we haven’t liked, but the two things we have used religiously since bringing our girl home is out Kindii bottle and storage system and our PopYum bottles. The Kindii system has just made the cycle of pumping/storing/feeding so much easier as everything is all compatible and convertible. We also have been loving the PopYum bottles, which I originally put on our registry cause I figured they’d be great for travel, but we have found we love them in general. It makes it so easy to prep the bottles while we are still sane enough to count and just have them at the ready for when we need to fill in a feed with formula instead. It’s really taken the pressure off me too cause it makes my husband feel a lot more prepared to be left with the baby by himself whenever I need to sleep.

I got so lucky with my daughter preferring cold bottles. She started teething early, so the cool milk felt good for her. Meant I could just pour her bottle straight from the pitcher and go, no hungry screaming baby as we waited!
Edit to add: Its also insane just how much of this I also had - like even the same pattern of change pad cover!

I got my 4 year old niece a bunch of toy fish with magnets and 2 magnetic fishing poles (so she could pretend to fish in the bathtub). She LOVED it but after a bath, there were like 35 plastic fish in the tub. I think that pool skimmer-like netting to hold bath toys would have been perfect for this!
