      thank you! i will be sealing that this coming week - cant work outside this weekend in my area of florida, the winds and rains have been VERY strong and a 30 mph wind would take that poor shell back to the ocean from here in this stuff today lol
      but as soon as its finished it will be shown off with the rest of the desoto creations :D

      and yes there are a few nice bead stores around here for sure plus we have hobby lobby and michaels too. but places like Jennifer Wiles Studio and Donnas Beads are LEGIT bead stores, sell all kinds of colors and even the good bead needles and threads too like Sono and KO... its easy to be creative when you have access to great supplies!

      let me look :) i have a bunch of you tube library music, and i use a few artists quite a lot, like anno domini and Dyalla ... it might be in the description too but honestly it will be easier for me to find right in the iMovie project lol...

      OK the intro music, the one that is in all my vids, is called Awaken by Anno Domini Beats.... and the High Speed Hobble music (lol!) is called Emerald Seas by Aaron Kenny. Both are available in the youtube music library :)

    If I may ask what bit do you use to drill the shells with?

    • @echouebijoux
      @echouebijoux  11 месяцев назад +1

      i have a bunch of diamond bits that i use.. things that drill, and then others that are discs meant to cut. And water! if you try to dry drill the shells get hot, crack, and may explode!

    What do you use to shine your shells up with if I can ask?

    • @echouebijoux
      @echouebijoux  Год назад

      I use liquid coconut oil :) i know a lot of folks use mineral oil but it is petroleum derived and i didn't want to have that near someones skin if they wear their necklace in the sun or anything :)

    I bought some safe Hydrochloric / Muriatic Acid, can you tell me please what ratio for it in a glass jar and also the baking soda ratio to rinse the safe Hydrochloric / Muriatic Acid off of my shells?
    Thank you!

    • @echouebijoux
      @echouebijoux  Год назад

      oops was trying to get a link and lost what i was typing -
      let me try again lol!
      ok I use regular muriatic on mine. the kind you can get at lowes and home depot etc. i use 3 parts water and 1 part acid, and add the acid to the water. my neutralizer is like a cup of baking soda in about 8 cups of water and i periodically add more after i have done a bunch of shells. i usually save up a bunch and do it all at once lol
      i know @swfbeachlife has a video using a new kind of safe muriatic from about 3 weeks ago - i haven't tried it yet myself, but she posted a video on how to clean w/ the Safe-HCL product. I checked their website and it says 1:1 or 1:100 depending on application...
      🤷‍♀i will ask Sharmon tho and see if she diluted or worked full strength ;)

    • @echouebijoux
      @echouebijoux  Год назад

      I reached out to Sharon @swfbeachlife - she says she used it straight from the bottle no dilution!
      good luck and let us know how your cleaning goes! :)

      1 cup baking soda to 8 cups water. Add more baking soda ias needed as you process the shells you want any fizzing to stop when you put it in the baking soda then i put them in plain water after to rinse them
      hope that helps!
