I greatly admire Larson Farms's cleanliness
Douglas Larson…………….there’s your reason
It's a simple concept that not many can grasp. All you have to do to keep it clean around the farm is actually finish the job when you're done by picking up and sweeping up. Experience in the shops that I've worked in people seem to think the job is over when they're done turning the wrenches
@@masterbates7016 We call those guys the 80%’s because the jobs not done til you clean up. There are certain guys that you can tell who did what by the mess they leave behind.
@@schaefersshitposts Absolutely-cleanest equipment & most immaculate floors on the planet.
I’m a pet/house sitter, I stay at large old farm on top of a Pa mountain. Huge barn(clad in boards that ppl pay a mint for) & over grown left to rot, along with an 100 yr old farmhouse. The matriarch of the family farm, was admitted to a nursing home a year or 2 ago. Tractors, equipment everywhere overgrown & rusting away. So incredibly sad, not sure why they never parted with any of it, except that they’re from a generation that never got rid of anything. It’s an absolutely amazing secluded property too.
I get excited to bring home a new Milwaukee tool now and then. I can’t imagine tractors and combine deliveries.
It awesome seeing Toby in the video's now. It's honestly like having a part of Nicole in them still when you see him. Knowing how close they was
I agree. I think the Big Swede was heaven sent too.
My guess is all of the used Larson equipment is highly sought after. I am so impressed on how well you all take care of everything on the farm. God Bless!🇺🇸
I bet! That smaller combine looks brand new! I thought I heard Eric say it's 12 years old?
@@teaches2010 it is but if you take care of stuff it lasts :)
I would never sell anything dirty , shows me you took care of the thing !
Cole the Cornstar also has a love affair with his power washer
I like the step. I quit jumping off my tailgate in my 40s, after 3 sprained ankles, various accidents. Never my pickup. Quit jumping off last couple steps of ladders also. I had realized to old to keep hurting myself!
Lets have a moment of silence to reflect on the genius who thought to put a refrigerator in a tractor. God love that person!!!!
Doug, you're a good man to spray that off even at the last minute to benefit the next guy. Thoughtful ! I never knew the steering trailer things ... so much you don't know if someone doesn't show/explain it - and you guys are great at educating us all :)
Out of all the farming channels I watch y'all are the best 👍
I totally agree. A channel like Cole the Cornstar is so bothering to watch. This just wholesome with no backstories that are hard to think about because of what you know is going on. Obviously it’s hard to think about Nicole, but we know she’s in heaven so that’s the nice thing.
i loved the big sweeds sticker but i really first thouht it was saying something else lol
The kitty Cat was the best sounding tractor imo 🥲
Really had a good growl to it. I might be crazy but i like to hear the equipment work, some are just too quite and all you hear is the whining hydraulics.
Really like seeing new equipment but the banter between the three of you is priceless.
Thanks for sharing
I would buy a piece of equipment that you guys owned in a second! Alot to be said about a farmer that takes care and pride in their equipment! Great video, God bless!
Anyone else find themselves at work doing it the "Duggo" way???
I do.
I want to say, "'Thank you" for the inspiration to all of you guys at Larson Farms, AND
I think America 🇺🇸 is better because you all are part of it, even Toby. 🌞
"If you know, well, you know"
ok you guys got some new green paint ( combined and 2 tracks), update the 600quads to 2021 620 quads.
Wondering what South Saskatchewan farmer is thinking right now his upgrade was an 85 John Deere pull combine
The price was right for Nick on that one. His payments are nothing…
i can't help but to be so impressed with the knowledge the kid has for the entire operation, and more than capable of taking this family farm into the future. and i also am blown away by how narrow the tracks are
"Some assembly required?" That one got me good.
Going to need a new equipment tour before harvest😳😳
I think Toby is liking the farm life and being able to hang with you Chet...blessings to all.
That challenger was always a sweet looking unit with the lights and everything it looked badass.
One of the best features I ever saw on a farm vehicle (tractor, ute, etc) was a front-mounted tow ball (or other towing link). Pushing/manoeuvring trailers and other wheeled equipment into place became a much simpler and more accurate operation.
Good to see some brand new green paint on the farm boys🌾 very exciting times ahead. It was your videos of ripping in frost in the 8rx that helped convince me to trade our 320rt on a 370rx . Can’t wait til she arrives next March .👍🌾 happy farming legends 🇦🇺
We demoed a 7r 270 this year and that seat is by far the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in.
Gonna miss the Challenger tractor, it was my favorite one and definitely sounded the best.
I love your green tractors and combines
Always nice to have something to look forward to... having that nice new machine sitting there waiting for the snows to melt will make the excitement of next spring even better.
Nice tractor Chet they have come a long ways from the old poppin johnnys, great video peace and love from Texas
I got a buddy in Atlanta who specializes in tinting equipment windows..makes a huge difference on interior condition and keeps the operator happy!!
Another "day on the farm." Lots to do getting ready for harvest. Thanks for bringing us along.
Eric has a very nice ride. Hope he takes care of it. Cant wait to see Chets new ride. Is Dougo getting a new ride also ?? Thank you guys for letting us into your day. Thank y'all for all that you do for us
Dougo has a new ride already the 9rx
@@justanotherfarmer1679 ok. didnt hear that in the video
Steve Neal
Doug got the 9rx to plant with last spring.
Dougo just got a new ride last winter.
Thank you everybody, but I dont need to be told 4 times
Rig the swivel axle to steer -either hydraulic or a big lever. Only needed for Parking.
I can only imagine the conversation at Kibble:
Chet: We need two newer RT's, like 2017 or 2018 model, preferably 370 horses.
Kibble: We have 2 brand spanking new 2021 Signature Edition 8RT 370s coming in, available for lease.
Chet: *Heavy breathing*
Nice purchase guys!!
Are you sure one is not going to be hooked up to a ripper just to try it this fall? ;)
Well wear to you sweet machinery
Really like seeing the shiny new equipment!
That nice new paint is always cool. You guys really take care of your equipment and keep the place so nice and clean. 👍👍👍❤️
Great cooperation between you and a great relationship makes work flow a lot easier
Hello from Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada. Thanks for sharing your great video’s please keep them coming
Thank you Larson Farms . For being my True " Reality TV". Keep up the good work.
It's called a "wet suit" Doug but they can be a little pricey for pressure washing where a good rain suit will do the job of which I see hanging in the wash bay...absolutely enjoy all the show very well done...
Love seeing new paint show up and see what you have worked so hard for to upgrade new pieces of equipment. You guys deserve it. Letting my son watch these videos with me also teaches him what hard work can do and what you can get newer for your farm helps him understand the meaning of life and how it can pay out in the end. Thank you Larson Farms and Big Swede and family for all you do. God bless you all 🇺🇸
This video has been out for only 15 minutes and you've already got 6,003 views . I did a thumbs up, as always!!!
Boy's and their toys.
God bless.
the difference between men and boys is the price of their toys
Chet thank you for explaining why you prefer the 2 track over a quad
Lots of new info this video and more great entertainment from the channel. Nice job as usual, Chet.
So nice to see the new green paint. Well it's hard to tell new from old at your farm. The old combine looked new. You take great pride in your equipment.
I must say this video was more than interesting and enjoyable. Wow, cannot keep track of equipment coming and going. Hard to keep thoughts on what is coming and items going. That 12 year old combine looks just like a new one. Some farmer is very lucky. The new lease tractor is a nicely equipped tractor. The old cat did a good job for you. Corn heads, cannot even keep track there. Will be good to see the new combine coming. Chet and Doug keep us straight on what is coming and going. Your operation is most interesting to observe. Wonderful job and trades guys!!!! The fact you clean a piece of equipment up before going to dealership is a pat on the back to all of you. If I was farming would want an old piece of your equipment. Hats off to you!!!!!
Chet, a little note to you. I saw several of the mini videos where you were teamed up with Zach Johnson for some fun thrill rides in one of the Razorbacks speed machines. I look at you as a family member and I think well of Zach also but he likes thrill machines and speed. You be careful with him. I watched those videos many times and chuckled and am so glad you both are doing ok and not hurt. Wow. Chet you take care of yourself and be careful around the speedster Zach. Enough of that.
Now back to farming. Busy time for your operation. Getting new equipment ready for fall and spring work. Believe you said the new tractor goes with the sprayer. Like your idea on the corn head trailer hitch set up for the new combine. Lots to think about when changing around equipment. All of you do great with that thought pattern. Very good. Will look at the hats and shirts on discount. You all take care and be safe. Thanks for the great video. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy from years ago.
I’m astounded at how farmers drive huge equipment & implements. I couldn’t back up a 4-wheeler trailer I could lift. Which I did, every time I had to back up.
Usually the longer the trailer the easier it is to back up
@@grant2869 It’s the physics of backing up (like shooting pool) & squeezing huge implements into buildings inches apart that’s amazing. Even with a spotter. Most ppl fail the parallel parking part of their driver’s license, farmers do it with vehicles that’re 1/2 a block long. But, all the farmers I watch have been driving tractors since they were kids, that’s how you learn for sure
Best channel on you tube, keep the videos coming Chet.
Looking forward to seeing the new equipment in action! 💪👍🏼
That Green is really shining.
DAMN Chet you must be in Love with the color of Green No matter what it is good or bad lol. Awesome video as always OH Yeah that RED next to your green looks Awesome color of paint.
Toby is turning into a great farm dog!! What he’s missing in height, he more than makes up for in spunk. #feistylikecobywelker #powernapper
That new tractor looks sweet I bet the big Swede will sleep in it because it is so nice and Chet keep up the great work.
I guess I was incorrect , some one told me that signature series where specifically maces for a buyer , when the customer tours the assembly line ?really nice looking unit .
Votre matériel est super bien entretenu, la moissonneuse batteuse qui est partie est comme neuve👌👍
Go with Erics thought, but unhook the head trailer and move it by hand power.
In my area BS does not mean Big Swede, LOL. Thanks for the great videos stay safe
I love watching y’all! You, Dougo n Eric make me laugh and yalls equipment is just beautiful.
Definitely loved the sound of the CAT, but the replacement is awesome and has nice shiny green paint 👍
Maybe a battery Hydraulic drive pumo for steering head trailer axle for parki. Or a Air cylinder and Milwaukee air compressor to steering the head trailer into the shed. Or get them to prototype a hydraulic pump like it. Many solutions, find one. 😊
Glad I could clean up the new 370 for you guys I hope it looked good
Shiny paint is a very expensive addiction. Thanks for another great video.
We want a struggle bus keychain!!
Being an ltl driver myself I understand his questions and concerns people tell you yea we get trucks in here all the time show up and most there getting is box trucks in and out
Okay, starting to get confusing Chet…. Your gonna have to do a “upgrade” review video before harvest so we’re all online. Lol.
New 790 and new 370rt… and another rt coming..
Saw the pain when you talked about the Buddy seat Chet. Thoughts are with you
Great video Chet Dougo and Big Swede
Looking good guys !!!! Better get some stickers on all the new tractors and combine !!!! Don't forgot to get old glory flying !!!!!
We've got a 9520 rt coming sometime this fall and it will go in the shed until spring, it's got 24 inch belts and will pull our 24 row planter. The leased red tractor goes back after harvest. We need to put some more hours on it before it goes by by.
Being nice does mean a lot !
Very good show
Hey Dougo, You'll get the hang of it! I had a job washing earthmoving equipment.
you did what famers have to do up keep and up grade. The biggeest tractor we had in the early 80's was a 2640 then upgraded to a 4440 now that's a upgrade back in the day.
The new 8r are great you’ll love them we had the first 8340 in new Zealand last year great tractor and very comfortable if you have the massage seat 😉
Love that dougo and Eric and his new tractor cant wait to see yours chet thanks guys for your time during the day
Friggin hilarious look on ur face when the platform header almost kissed the back of the shed! Good to see that happens on other farms haha! Good stuff!
You’ll for sure love the new 8rt 370 I got the opportunity to drive one when they launched it here in Australia its such a comfortable tractor
Swede and Chet need an incident board. Permanent ink, not dry erase!
Great video thanks again
excellent additions
r I was soo blown away when i saw that Erick got a 8r 370 to use. I bet Chet is now jealous
You all should put a hitch on the front of your trucks
Great video - I love too see all your equipment and get it explained. I might have missed a lot of videos, but why do you prefer twotrax as rowcrop tractors? I would think that they dig a lot when you turn, but you might not have to turn that often?
As always, your stuff looks brand new even when you ship it out. I hope this gets you a better deal on new stuff. The benefit of keeping it this shiny on the farm, is that it´s contageous. If your machine looks brand new, you just wanna keep it that way. I love it!
I used to OPERATE an 9880 STS In the early 2000’s here in the UK. 30ft header and it could not cope with the wheat yields we have here unless the conditions were perfect! We don’t generally get perfect conditions here and the combine destroyed itself over a year! JD ended up buying it back and we went to a CLAAS.
Love the Toby time. 🐩
Any military vets in the family? Just by the way everything from tractors to tools have a place and is returned to that space and clean. Impressive 👍👍 GREAT VIDEO!
My fam lives in Wheaton and I was down there yesterday and drove by deer and think I saw the combine
Nice looking tractor Larson Farms
Nice RT!! Enjoy your brand new addition! 💛💚🦌
Have you thought about putting a hitch on your forklift for backing up that equipment? You’ll have a lot more maneuverability. Or even a front hitch on your truck.
Excellent video Chet!!! Toby acts like he likes farm life!! At least, he gets his exercise chasing kitty's. Ha'. Take care!!!
Some nice upgrades to the fleet
Can’t beat that Deere 480 high lift, those babies will run forever.
Would love to see a Q&A with the whole squad!
admire Larson Farms's cleanliness
For the 53 people that gave this video a thumbs down let me ask you a question what is not to like about this video most of you were probably having a bad day or you had a splinter in your fingerThere is nothing wrong with this video you must not be a Minnesotan
Just morons.
@@zulu0219 Yes that is correct that was my conclusion to
gonna miss that cat, she has a lovely sound on her
Nooo the beast sounding engine is going for that DEF JD😆
Dougo, Chet, & Eric the three amigos are so darn entertaining, & funny! Toby is such a beautiful Beagle, one of my favored breeds, every time I see him I yell "Hey Tobes" then grama asks who I'm talking to. I tell her Tobey, she says I don't think he can hear you through the TV, & that I need to see a Dr. Why I ask, she said cause you old fart you're talking to a dog on the tv like he can hear you. I asked her when supper will be ready, she said when Tobey yells back hey you old fart! She can be a pain in the butt sometimes but the ole girl can make homemade biscuits, gravy, butter, molasses & coffee that are heaven. Her pies are to die for, especially if she throws that damn old rolling pin if you invade her kitchen! Well, best get to the supper table before I get the evil eye!
Chet, I think maybe you suffer from ADOS. Attention Deficit ...Oh! Shiny! Heated seats? Wow. You can toast your buns, Eric! Blessings to all from Ohio. Give Toby a scratch for me!
