Well done. God bless your family farm operation. We too often take it for granted the American food production and those responsible and dedicated to feed others, including their own families.
8 generations is more than you think 1 you 2 parents 4 grandparents 8 great grandparents 16 great great grandparents from 8 generations ago through time untill now = +minus 1600 most direct ancestors straight going to 1 little old you ooh thats a lot 1600 yeh but thats what it took to get you 16 great great grandparents from 8 generations ago salute and God bless
@ I avoid GMO. I grow my own food organically. I guess it is better for people to have something to eat than nothing. Hopefully, more farmers will farm the perfect way. Until then, though, people need to eat.
You are the future of American farming, Zoe! I am so grateful for folks like you and Kate Stephens, who will keep our nation fed going forward. Sending love always.
Way too fun! That style of a Farm is a rare bird in the US. Mine is simply mine. Years as a Toolmaker and one day my Sons asked me what I really wanted to do? We bought a Farm in Alberta. They have their lives and help when they can but all mine. We adore Alberta! Mountains to the West and flat land East as far as you can see. Hopefully one of the Grandkids has a Farmers "Itch" so this will become a Generational Farm. Will see. Keep safe and may the weather suit your end of the season =).
Incredible insight into farming life! From the family’s six-generation history to the detailed breakdown of equipment and practices, this video offers a deep dive into what it really means to run a farm today.
If you could see that farm the way God sees it you'd see a sesspool of poisonous chemical laden land and bio engineered chemical poison covered lab created food . They are destroying the earth and the health of the ecosystem and the humans they feed. Just about every country bans gmos except for the USA. Even Mexico. That should tell you something. Her farm is a field of death.
Nice presentation. Would love to see you on here regularly. Have enjoyed farming my entire life 60 years old. And with a presentation like this I’m still learning. Keep up what is in your heart. Beautiful.
Excellent video. I am a very small hobby farmer. I am envious of your opportunity. Congratulations on your new venture. You are the future of America let alone North America. Wishing you a fabulous future…..
First time watching you. You are doing an awesome job. A friend of mine purchased her first farm at 19 years old. She did grow up on a successful farm. Thank you for the informative video.
Awesome story,I love that your family has 6 generations of farming. You are very lucky and blessed young lady. You dad is very proud of you and I can see that. I'm from Middletown ohio and we also have a lot of farming around us.
I’m impressed with your grasp of all facets of your family Ag business! Everything you do is super important to success and profitability. Your parents have raised you well. The life lessons they have shared with you are invaluable. Your education has given you additional tools to help raise your farm operations to new levels. I wish you great success! But I also hope you work at maintaining balance in life with family and those around you. All the best, DANS 😊
Great presentation by a very competant young lady. Enjoyed immensely as a long retired aggie in Aus!! Still like the idea of seasonal harvesting or planting work for seniors. Cheers djk
The leadership shown in this video is really great, it is a combination of high education ,experience and great passion with an advice from a close trusted people. Good luck,
Wow !!! That is a very nice farm. I once raised corn but only about 150 acres, nothing compared to yours. Equipment sure is expensive now days. Thanks for the video Lovely lady.
I throughly enjoyed your video. Your presentation was outstanding. You sounded like a few professors l had in college. Never miss a beat. I live in North Carolina. I farmed tobacco, corn, and soybeans. I haven’t had any tobacco in several years. I grow some corn and hay for my cows. I had brood cows and finish feeder cattle out for freezer beef. I still work my job too. You are very knowledgeable and very good at presenting what you are doing.
Great video!! Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you came from a great family which is awesome. It’s truly a blessing to already establish your career and have your family close. Your dad will always have the need to be doing something around the farm and the day will come when you understand his mentality. I wish you and all the family continued success!! Way to go Zoe!
Really enjoyed your video and hope that you will produce more and this will provide more income for your operation. Good for us to have more knowledge for those of us that are not farmers. We appreciate you.
Compared to what tens of millions of young people are going through today, you have a good and stable life. You are very lucky. It's very beautiful out there as well.
Thought that area looked familiar. Spent my first ten years in Bucyrus. My mom's family had a homestead just south of Crestline. Still miss that country. Have spent the last 47 years frying in Southern Arizona. Enjoyed your informative show.
Whenever I come across farming, it takes me down memory lane. Losing my farm to the hurricane Florence on September 2018 here in North Carolina dealth a huge jab. But with an influx of $125k monthly made my family happy one more time
Insightful and impressive. I like that it gets in depth with operations. I also must say it's impressive to see a capable young women running 1700 acres. So many family farms seem to be getting sold off to bigger operations over the last couple of generations, good to see stories about farms staying in the family.
New fan here, great video! Very informative an I enjoyed learning about farming. So very cool running your family business. Wishing you an your business the best! Thanks for sharing.
You can tell Zoe worked hard to get to this point. Zoe is the type of farmer I truly love, they work hard to feed this country. Keep working hard Zoe and you will be successful.
First time view. You are doing an excellent job both in explaining what and why you are doing on your farm both on You Tube and in practice. I am an OSU alumnus in Dairy Science in 1966, just a few years before you.😉
Your heart is into it. That's what makes your video so captivating and a joy to watch. Hopefully, you have not covered everything, and more videos are coming. You are an All-American farm girl, we can all be proud of you!
Zoe's story sounds very familiar to mine. I started driving with the lawn mower and showed beef at the county fair. I was a member of the 4-H and FFA. My dad also sent me out into the fields to tillage.
Lots of respect for the multi-generational farm. We still own our land from a grant over 200 years ago. It was worked for 4 generations before the barn burned in the early 1900s and my grandfather became a carpenter.
Great career, college, book keeper, farmer, laborer, gymnast, 4 h, many different things, you are an all around great person, very exiting, educational, and exiting video N,
Wow, I know where you guys are at! I have a bunch of farmer friends in Bucyrus and I'm over here in Galion, Lexington area! It's great seeing a local here on RUclips! Awesome interview and just subscribed to your channel!

Hello there Zoe, I hope everything is going good for you wonderful farm, and I hope you do exceptionally well because I believe the lord looks out for the hard worker's of this world.
If I was president, I would pass a law getting rid of inheritance tax on farms!! Or any tax that the government has on small family farms!! We are sooo overtaxed!! I love family business, thank you for keeping us fed
Six generations? What a legacy. Keep it going. You must be very proud. Good presentation. Thanks for sharing.
Why so few trees? Just looks so baron. More farm land I guess, but sure doesn't look very homie.
Well done. God bless your family farm operation. We too often take it for granted the American food production and those responsible and dedicated to feed others, including their own families.
I would be more than glad to help with making the 7th!!

Six generations of a family business, very impressive.
Looking into getting into farming, not at this scale, but when you're too far removed from where food comes from, it's not good...
If I was president, I would pass a law getting rid of inheritance tax on farms!! Or any tax that the government has on small family farms!!
We are sooo overtaxed!!
