I could understand why he is crying, I did too, looking at all of these characters return from over 10 years ago, brings tears to my eyes, it was my childhood, and brings back so many amazing memories.

Base of what I've seen through out this conferences all of these other companies have these amazing line-ups and don't use the "well we can play the games on the other console" because that's what most are arguing with Microsoft, it matters that they showed the games at their own conferences. Even though Microsoft had one of the best line-ups at e3 this year: DMC, Cuphead, Jump Force, Halo infinite, Fallout, Cyberpunk etc. The problem with Sony's conference was that the good shit happen at the end, but even still there variety at their e3: Tsushima, Death stranding, more Kingdom hearts footage with new mods, Resident evil 2 remake, Spiderman. Nintendo wasn't downright terrible, it was just kind of underwhelming. Now of course Nintendo has more show off this year no doubt, but it terms of E3 im not going to give Nintendo the "W" just because of Smash. The game looks great, but with no news on other titles and keeping it hidden. Nintendo's e3 felt lackluster and its put in 3rd place overall.

I'm with you man, some people don't understand. We waited 5,10,15 years for this smash to happen. It's all our childhood smashes in one. It brings everyone, fixes everything, changes casual and competitive play. On top of all, unites the player base around one game. This is really the ultimate version. I can't wait to get my hands on this game.

It's people that tell others to calm down when they're excited that really piss me off. overexaggeration or whatever you call it, some people just get more excited over certain things and that is perfectly okay. I'm with you man, some people don't understand. We waited 5,10,15 years for this smash to happen.
It's all our childhood smashes in one. It brings everyone, fixes everything, changes casual and competitive play. On top of all, unites the player base around one game.
This is really the ultimate version. I can't wait to get my hands on this game.

I was at work when I first watched this direct and I reacted just as strongly. Except I had to keep it super quiet because I didn't want my coworkers to think (know?) I was crazy. I was dancing in my chair, pointing at the screen when I noticed something awesome, I teared up a few times.

It's people that tell others to calm down when they're excited that really piss me off. overexaggeration or whatever you call it, some people just get more excited over certain things and that is perfectly okay. I mean, I didn't cry, (Not this time anyway) But I was just as excited and right there with Roger when I 1st saw this presentation. And the people that don't care, well while I'm sorry you have a bad habit of ruining it for those that are. When you bring someone back down to Earth like that, all that hype evaporates. And we just feel BAD for liking something that we do which is never right. No one to blame for that but yourself either. So way to ruin it for some people.We haven't even had something like this for 4 years and when Smash is basically the heart of Nintendo at this point, these things become expected. Not everything is for you, or about you. You get your day in the spotlight in other years or at other conferences while Sakurai brings this gift down to us. I am not just talking about Smash.
