100% agree on the new NSX. That car is INCREDIBLY underrated. I rode in one recently and it's truly an astonishing car, mixing exceptional handling with surprising ride comfort, blistering performance in a V6 plug-in hybrid, and excellent looks (particularly in red) that somehow blend in with the crowd anyway. The whole car is a marriage of opposites, and it's very much underappreaciated in the market.

I know Doug pointed out these last V8 sports cars, but I think the 14-15 Camaro Z/28 deserves special recognition. LS7 427, carbon ceramic brakes, A/C and radio was optional, no carpet in the trunk, first use of Multimatic DSSV dampers besides in a crazy concept car and F1. This Camaro is more special than the current ZL1 1LE. Only 3,500 produced in 2 years.

Adding power to an electric motor is practically impossible once you reach the limit of what the motor is designed for. You might be able to unlock a bit more power beyond what the manufacturer limited it to stock but beyond that it's physically limited by its internals. Since you brought up color, which is a issue that I have discussed for a long time, I'd be interested in hearing you discuss this more. I talked with a person who was a brand manager at Chrysler and asked why there are so many black, white and silver cars sold. He said that it was because those are the colors that people want. I countered with the idea that most people purchase their vehicles out of dealer stock, and black, white and silver vehicles are what dealers order, so that is what people purchase. Other than my first car that was purchased out of dealer stock in 1985, I have since always ordered my vehicles so that I can get them the way I want them, including an interesting color. My current Wrangler is Commando Green (a color people either love or hate). The previous Jeep was Cactus Green. I currently own a Plum Crazy purple Challenger, and we had a Toxic Orange Charger. We only had three black cars (I dislike black cars, but my wife likes them.)
