I appreciate you saying that! I've missed this, and am pumped to get back into a routine! (Hopefully) Fortunately, I've been slammed with client work that keeps the lights on had to take priority. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm glad to have a little time to get on here again! Thanks again for the kind words!
@@TroyMairs Its like gimbals and sliders and easy rigs.. on every day basis it just lays around doing nothing, but for the projects where its needed you really need it and have to use a dollyto get the shot perfect. :) those tools i feel like its either Rent it when needed or rent it out to others and use it when you need it :P
as a fellow over-researcher of gear I'd love to get, it's better to make a NAS with IronWolf Pro drives, not only is it safer with the redundancy of a RAID array, you can always expand little by little your storage pool by chucking a new disk into it when you need it, you just need to buy a NAS box with as many bays as you would need on the long term (like if you think you could eventually need 6 bays, you can start the build with a Synology box with that many bays, but with 3 IronWolf Pro 18TB drives and after a while, look for a sale to get another one). Don't know much about making a NAS from scratch, I'm not LTT tho lol
Thank you for sharing that insight! I really appreciate it! I think I better bite the bullet and do the NAS... I'd hate to be in the same position I am now in a few years lol. Thanks again!
