I would’ve been like “Mama do not take this mess to court” LOL. 😂 I wouldn’t even sue anyone for a bad cake unless it was an expensive wedding cake or something.
For me, it depends on the relationship I’d have with this hypothetical mom and sister, lol. During my lunch break I ordered a coke to go with my meal and ended up with a root beer. I guess I should sue for my days wages now. 🙄
2 minutes into the case and I’m already OVER IT 🙄🤦🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️
She need to sue her daughter for walking out of her party over a cake flavor. Ridiculous !!!! The Baker should NOT responsible for anything else other than the cake ….. CRAZY
Better then having a attitude ruining the whole night for the guests
The judge put it PERFECTLY! A 22 year old having a melt down over a cake and storming out of her own birthday party. A mother that doesn't see it???? Encourages it???
To even have a tantrum over a cake is ridiculous. Bringing it to court just puts icing on the ridiculousness.
If the daughter is so distraught over a cake she's in for a reality check when life hits hard
Life’s going to hit this girl like a cement truck flying down the autobahn 😂
The mom didn’t already know that her daughter doesn’t like red velvet cake ? Changing at last minute seems suspicious. She wanted to pin the cost of the party on the bakery.
I would’ve been like “Mama do not take this mess to court” LOL. 😂 I wouldn’t even sue anyone for a bad cake unless it was an expensive wedding cake or something.
For me, it depends on the relationship I’d have with this hypothetical mom and sister, lol.
If the mom is a real piece of work and I’m tired of her and Sister’s drama, I’d be encouraging her to sue *and* get on one of these court tv shows.
That way when people ask why I have limited contact with my mom and sister, I could just show them this video. 🤣
The daughter probably encouraged the mother to sue. But was too embarrassed to actually show up. If the girl had a hissy fit and stormed out of her own party cause baby's little cake was wrong.. I can't imagine her actually having the common sense to tell her mother she shouldn't sue lol this whole family thought they were gonna have a new party at the expense of the baker!
She should’ve dragged the ungrateful daughter with her to explain herself
@@Klw2010yeah that spoke volumes. Will make a huge scene and storm out but can’t even show up to back up her own case in court?
If I took a shot for every time they said cake, I'd be a rum cake.
Her daughter was 22 !!! not an immature teenager. I was married with 2 babies at that age and about to buy my first house.
Right!! Omg!! Im 23 and i would never walk out of a party over a cake. I dont even go to any parties😂
@@mirsan6705 , why don't you go to parties?
I was a newlywed.
I love this judge so much. I mean it might have been a pie in error, can you imagine.
I don't believe a word the plaintiffs spoke. The first thing I thought was that 10" cake was NOT going to feed 35 people that were supposedly at the party. smdh
Edited to add that if they had taken the guy's offer of a refund and a replacement, he would have let them keep the red velvet and the rum cake, and then maybe almost (but not quite) half of the people supposedly there could have had a piece of cake to enjoy. I think this was a private party at home and the family all got a piece of the red velvet but decided to try and get some money out of the poor guy because of a simple mixup.
Was thinking the same thing. I can't believe the judge didn't question how they thought a ten inch cake would feed 35 people?! And the daughter said they were expecting more!
🤔 I was so annoyed by her I didn’t even realize that . Her stupidity is contagious 😩
The testimony was that there was supposed to be much more then 35 people. Whole thing was a scam.
I don't even think the party ever happened, sounds scammy to me
Facts
The plaintiff seems to take the idea that 'customer is always right"to a whole other level
Damn no wonder her daughter ended up as ungrateful as she is with a mother like that
So by her rationale, had the DJ performed badly. She would want him to pay for the cake
I hope karma delivers them red velvet cakes on every occasion available
I literally laughed out loud when the judge started going off at the mother regarding her daughters behavior....my god what a brat
She should pay him money , and pay the court a fee for wasting their time
$1,500. for a $34. cake, for 35 people. He should've charged her 50% more when she changed the order.
I knew JM was gonna start screaming. Lol. This mom is ridiculous justifying this childish behavior 😒
The mom is delusional… the plaintiffs other daughter said her sister was ALREADY in a bad mood due to a fight she had with her boyfriend. & only 35 guest showed up to the party.
JM blew this one. The people ate the cake!!!
haha, shes always wrong
Why wouldn’t you sue your daughter for the cost of the party? Not the bakery. I’m so glad her 22nd bday was ruined cause it’s her own self entitlement that did that.
Ridiculous just go buy another cake and sue for the replacement of the cake.
This lady is ridiculous suing for all that nonsense!
That 22 year old needs a reality check!
She was offered replacement cake and a refund so she didn’t even need to sue at all! She was just being greedy.
And the Judge said "let them eat cake".
Good afternoon good people!!! Did auntie really believe she was going to get $1,500 for a cake? 😖🙄
Hi Kam. She did! 😹😹😹
Sue happy Auntie 🤣🤣
Her daughter should be paying her back for the party, cause she ruined her own birthday party and nobody else…
So because of a cake, the whole party is ruined, how and why? I would have made the most of that situation being grateful for life and having people around me that loves me to celebrate with me. Once she gets older, she wil realise there is more important things in life, hopefully. The daughter is a spoilt fool and mom is enabling her foolishness.
I agree with you 100%
How big a bite of cake would 35 people really get from a 10" cake? Just a nibble.
They act like it’s a wedding
Why did they make the defendant carry that old azz cake out of the courtroom??!! 🤣⚰️
Lol the fact the mom was gonna walk away at the end explains everything
People not showing up is real telling.
after listening to mom it's not telling at all it would be expected 😂
So the daughter herself isn’t even there
wow she doesn't know that her own daughter doesn't like red velvet cake. some great mother she is
Oh please. I don't know exactly every preference of my kids either. And cakenis an occasion food not a staple. Perfectly reasonable she didn't know.
@@jcymngo but if you storm out of a party because it’s that’s serious mom should know.
Just shut up!.so that in itself proves she's not a good Mother, pleeeeeeezze!.
That’s what I said too
JM went on a rant about the Red Velvet Conspiracy lmfao!!
The lady walked out still thinking he should have paid for the party 😂😂😂😂😂😂
And she made him carry out her old partially eaten cake that she brought in.
he's a great guy and awesome owner he tried to accommodate her not only tried to make her whole but give her more even after he won! That lady is nuts and he owe her nothing else she's insane
No one stayed because the party was as bad as this lady’s attitude 😮 I can’t believe she wasted the judges time and went on TV over a $35 cake 🎂…. You need a life lady !
The mom seems like the lights aren’t on upstairs.
You know that 22 year old did NOT storm out lol, she just said that for dramatic affect thinking it would help her case lol.
I can believe it and the other daughter backed it up. Look if the mother is that goofy I'm sure the daughter isn't far behind.
@@Channel-JJ of course she backed it up though, you gotta have your story straight before court. Also you would not wanna go against a mom like that lol.
I was thinking that as well before the mom really thought she could sue for everything at the party because of a cake.
The plaintiffs are absolute clowns...
Imagine how funny it would’ve been if she brought the cake and there was like a quarter of it left 💀
This lady’s cake is certainly not baked in the middle.
Now I love red velvet cake and rum cake but if you don't like the food....you just don't eat it....not sue for thousands of dollars. Also a 10 inch cake is NOT enough to feed 35 people
I was thinking the same. How was a 10 inch cake going to feed 35 people or more.🤷🏾♀️The 22 year-old was also upset more people didn't attend her party. I know not everyone eats cake, but my goodness a 10 inch cake.
That's what I said. If they had taken the guy's offer of a refund and a replacement, he would have let them keep the red velvet and the rum cake, and then maybe almost (but not quite) half of the people supposedly there could have had a piece of cake to enjoy. I think this was a private party at home and the family all got a piece of the red velvet but decided to try and get some money out of the poor guy because of a simple mixup.
It depends on how thick and large each slice is. You can absolutely cut up 35 slices from a 10" cake. Each slice might be paper thin, but it's still a slick of cake, LOL.
@@AT-jm4dl Just a sliver of cake or a sample ☺
@@BadPenny023 yeah they were just awful and he was so humble. Terrible. I think Judge Judy would have asked if anyone at the party had a piece, taken a look at that cake and threw out the case!
the mamas suing for cake when she got all them cakes herself, geesh.
I am shocked. Entitled disgusting people! I wish the defendant had a good reason to countersuit. That would have made my day.
Whether or not the cake was wrong or right how does mean that the baker has to pay for the party??🤔🤔 Her BIG OLD HARD BACK daughter knows why she didn't come to count because, she knows the judge would've RIP HER APART for her FOOLISHNESS!!
that's on her for letting a cake ruin her day.
And they ate half the cake.
I am dying you hear me!!! JM is sooooo funny!!!! The mom should be embarrassed 😭😭😭😭
I can't believe this lady brought this lawsuit. She's lucky it was TPC because I bet any other judge would have laughed her out of the courtroom after yelling for wasting their time. What an absolute fool this mother is if she honestly believes she'll get $1500 because they handed her the wrong cake. I really hope her daughter finds the help that she needs because if the wrong cake has that detrimental of an effect in your life, then she needs serious counseling.
The plaintiff must be out of her mind. And you bought the cake to court? A 22 year old woman acting worse than a child? She and her daughter are sick.
Tell it, Judge, Tell it!!!!!!!
Brought the cake but not her daughter, who is probably institutionalized from all the drama
It’s scary we share a world with people with this mindset 😢
