thanks and good job :). My doctor has one of these F30i's as a sample to give me. I think it is what I need. Had an excision of skin cancer and the edge of my M resmed full face pushes on the scar. It hurts!!! This does not look like it will hit the scar. I will be so grateful for this. Thanks again
I have an F30 mask and have bought liners from Silentnight at 6 quid each which only last for a week and are rough on the skin, then from Padacheek a piece of cloth with a few holes cut in it for 40 quid! Then I thought, hang on, I could do that much cheaper. I just need it to protect my skin from the mask so I borrowed a cotton face mask from my sister and she cut two holes for nose and mouth, clipped it over my ears then put the F30 over it. Works fine. You can get them for 1 or 2 quid and they are washable. Give it a try. Also found that the mask slips forward and so doesn't stay firmly on the nose, especially a problem when sleeping. Bought some large velcro cable ties and connected the front and back headstraps, tightened it to a secure and comfortable position and it works fine and stays in position through the night. Great to be able to use the F30 as it is the most comfortable and the full face one brings out a nasty rash on my nose.
Great question. The genius behind the 'top of the head' masks is that the same amount of air gets to the mask cushion even if you are lying on one side and squashing it. These are specifically made for side sleepers.
This is the problem I have experienced with the dreamware full face mask as it has the same tubing lining the face. I’m also a big side sleeper & can def feel a change in air pressure when laying on sides & essentially pinching one side side because of it
@@CPAPDirect there’s a CPAP video done by lankylefty here on YT where he pinched the tubing shut ok dreamware full face mask while measuring pressure & it’s pretty big difference. I myself believe I can feel the pressure difference too at times
I have the Airefit F30i mask and I have had at three different times the plastic tabs break off where the air tube connects to the mask. This is very worrisome as it is a serious choking hazard. Unfortunately I never found 2 of the tabs, but doubt I swallowed them as I think I would have woken up. I have been extremely careful with the setup and when placing the mask on, I am also not pulling it too tight. My sleep manager was nice enough to replace 2 of them without cost to me as she believed them to be defective, especially since the second airtube I only had for 1 night. These mask are nice and comfortable, but I am very concerned with the manufacturing of them. 3 plastic tabs breaking in as little as 3 weeks all in the same place, something isn't right here... The 3rd tab was on my mask itself which renders the airtube useless. Luckily I have a second mask...
I never knew about the F30i. I st got a new CPAP machine and it have the F350. I got a friction infection on my left nostril from the mask rubbing up against my nose.
I just got the F30 and I can't use it because he mask will not snap onto piece that the magnets attach to. I have try everything. It will not snap into place, so another night without CPAP.
I've tried the F30i and found the air exhale blows out those hole out the front too much unlike the F30. Yes the F30 has the hose coming out from the front of the face, but it has no wind blowing coming out the front making noise against my pillow, partners face, or blanket. F30i is definitely more comfortable, and user friendly but l can still have the issues with air flow coming out.
I used this for the first night. I woke up with swollen eyes my cheeks below my eyes was sore. Finally at 4:30 I removed it, I believe the mouth should harder silicone to keep it in place.I will trying it again because I like the head hose, but if it makes my face to swell I will have to go back to the full face mask with the hose attaching to the face mask...
Question: I currently use a F10 mask. Looking to upgrade. will this mask connect to my existing heated hose? I assume yes since the mask is listed as compatible with air sense 10
The F30i definitely needs to be sized and fitted correctly for the best results. However, if it's not right for your face, at least you have a 30 day money back guarantee with the F30i. If you bought it from CPAP Direct, we can help you.
I just got this mask today, it’s way better that the F20. Didn’t have to make it painfully tight to get a good seal and i woke up feeling well rested

2:18 (Bane voice) It's nice to see you again Batman!
Love my F30i. Really recommend it.
me too! I'm a stomach sleeper and it works great for me
Informative video but what would possess you to add the obnoxious background musak? Do you really think it adds any credibility to the product(s)?
F30 for me always leaks. I've tried all sizes and none of them worked for me. I love the F30i more.

I put a pillow next to my cheek and
am side sleeper. Will the tube collapse, and cut off my air if to much pressure is applied?

Does the F30i fit with ResMed Mini?

Mine has super glue now!!! Haha
Definitely right about better airflow, compared to the frontal attachment

How does the fit of the F30i mask compare to the Dreamwear full-face? I use a small Dreamwear.

Agree about the F30 under nose. Holes don't line up with nostrils and in a small. Pain in the butt.
Why not cut it so it’s one big nostril hole?
@@andresreyna4260 Wouldn't seal.

I assume the cushions are NOT interchangeable between the two models??
Correct
no

Yes it's definitely compatible.
F30i leaks and falls off as I’m a restless sleeper… getting something else

Love this wonderful mask, is very comfortable to sleep with.
