  • I wanted to document this charming abandoned church before it's condition worsens between vandals and the elements. The little building still has a lot of character. The lights inside are old Nikon Speedlights that have built in optical triggers. You can find these flashes very cheaply. In fact, some folks have a hard time giving them away, but they are great tools! I put them in manual mode at full power in this case with a CTO gel for the warm light. They were triggered by another flash I was holding off camera as high as I could. That flash was a wireless Godox V860II series. I used a Fujifilm X-T2 with a Fujinon 10-24mm zoom for the photo. The video was shot with an X-T4 using the Fujinon 16mm f/1.4 and the 50-140mm f/2.8.
