I actually know everyone from days of the new. Travis, Todd, Matt, and Jessie. We are from the same town Charlestown. My uncle grew up with these dudes so we would always see them around. Very underrated band.
Once upon a time, I was 13 and heard this song on the radio. I was never able to record it on a tape. Years passed. A decade or so, give or take. And the chorus was as clear as day in mind, thru all those years. I didn't know the name of the song, nor the band, just the chorus. The internet was at it's beginning, and it you couldn't just "Google it". Until the day you could, and I was able to finally rediscover this awesome song! Sure it took me some 10+ years, but I've eventually found it again! It's been 26 years of me liking the same song, never getting tired of it.
Man.... I've honestly learned how to play this while watching this video.... some people learn instruments visually.... I'm one of those people, I've been playing consistently for about a year and a half
Man I wish. I get so mad when I open up guitar lessons and they don't actually say anything they just video their hands. I wish I could learn from watching more efficiently
I snapped my 5th string trying to get into drop c tuning using a tuner on my phone. Are you playing in Drop C here like the original or are you using a different tuning?
"Yes I've finally found a reason,
I don't need an excuse,
I've got this time on my hands,
You are the one to abuse..."
Days of the New. I know he emulated Cornell and Wayland, but still had a nice sound.
@@DMDMDM01he did not emulate them! Travis is a goat
@@DMDMDM01Weiland was such an appreciated front man

Nailed perfectly! You should have covered the entire song, it probably would have been one of the best covers out there!
