These things are very useful I think, not so much in the sense of anyone is bother what kit people use more so to see the luggage in use giving you an idea of what you need and what fits etc, they did it with the cool bags year or so ago showing just what you can stow in each one and that was cracking 👍👍
I love the set up Danny. I use compact gear all the time. Had it for about 3 years now. Bought it at launch. Sturdy, wears well, excellent products. I use a triple rod bag and a double for my marker and spod. Hope your well.
You can get range finders from an archery store or hunting store. Bushnell makes one under 100$. Basically you look through an optic at something, and it tells you exactly how far it is. There are also range finding binoculars, so if you saw bubbling of the surface or fish breaking, you could get a distance and cast exactly on that spot. You can use it to clip your line just short a snag like overhanging branches before ever making a cast to the spot.

he usually just has some square pails to mix or soak his boilies with, and everything stays in it's bag or bottle until he uses it. One time when they were using pop ups, they just put flavor goo right in the package the pop ups came in and let it soak the whole time.
