I tried this today and it only worked for one out of like 10 peaches I had... :( will it not work if the peaches are still a little hard? i think that was my problem for the 9 that didn't peel. I scored them, I boiled water, they sat in there for well over 30 seconds, and only one peach peeled right off.
The peach should have no greenish tinge. You can very gently squeeze it but be careful not to bruise it. It should give a little. It seems like it is experience that makes the biggest difference. When I was younger I would try to force it with less ripe peaches but the flavor is never as good. If I try to blanch and the skin doesn’t come off I set it aside and try again later.
Very precise. Though I did not end up doing this exactly as you did, I really learned a lot from this video. You guys are just awesome.
We are glad it was helpful.

So like, how ripe is a ripe peach? should the peach be super soft? Should it be firm at all?
It sounds like they are not ripe enough.
