- Trea Turner is one of the nicer guys that I've been fortunate enough to meet in baseball. Trea invited WPW into his Spring Training home to give us a "show-and-tell" on his favorite gear. In this segment, Trea pulls out his college and pro game gloves to show us how they've evolved over the years, and we also get to talk a little about his favorite bat models, and his first MLB cycle on April 26, 2017 at ice cold Coors Field.

This is coming up on 4 years old and he just signed a 300M Contract. Would be great to see a part 2 as a continuation where this one left off. Trea is a good dude, I enjoy his success even though he refuses to play for teams I like.

actually, i would say we keep it pretty exclusive to our gloves. I also call it "my baby," "my girlfriend," "my wife," and probably other terms of endearment. The glove is the most sacred of all things for a baseball player, and that's why we talk about it like that.
Almost everyone on my baseball team has a name for there ball glove your baseball glove is your girl

I freaking love baseball gloves! I coach little league, and Pony nowadays just to have an excuse to use my 11.5" I-web and H web Rawlings HOH. Slurp! I also have 4 of my own kids who play or will be soon and I also love their gloves more then they do.
This Young buck has great style, I love the way he talks about his new gloves like they are girlfriends that may never live up to the standard he sets for his wife lol.
