the one thing i didnt know my fbx was locked so it wouldn't avatar descriptor just a little tip make sure its unlocked

This has been very helpful, I am a little stumped on trying to find the head mesh though. Its under neck, and whenever I click auto-detect it selects the body of my model even if I move the head mesh to the top.
Can you explain how you can set up clothing as toggle that also move with the blendshapes to the body?
You just turn on the blendshape when the cloths are on, and turn them off when the clothing is off.

What exactly are all the things I need to import into unity along with my fbx? I noticed you had quite a few things in there. Im super new to this so Im just not sure. Thanks in advance! Great videos!!
For basic avatars you only need to use VCC (Avatar creator companion), your FBX, and a shader! I use poiyomi shader personally, but thats usually personal pref.

Hi there! So when I get my avi in game her mouth opens when I look up or down 😢 I def deleted that jaw bone too and set it to none!
Hmm that sounds like your looking up and down blendshapes also control the month.
Hi so I threw the fbx into Unity, set up the humanoid thing, then viewpoints, but when you threw in the material on the face, I can’t find any material for that in my project, did you end up making it manually ?
You always have to manually create materials.
8;27 i cant find the fx thing to save my life, im using creator companion and checked your vcc video out but i still cant find it
The new one is under projects tab where the SDK avatars folder is.
at 9:40 whenever i click on the parameter one nothing is there
You have to create your param for the model.
i did, i hit create, vrchat, avatars, expression parameters then i dragged the created parameter onto the parameter spot for the avatar

I hit control V and nothing happened
the vrcsdk i imported didnt have examples ect and my unity dosent have animator tab please help what do i do?
We use VCC now, you will no longer be required to import any SDKs. Follow my "How to use VCC" tutorial for using the latest SDK.
What do I do if the eyes don't move when you are setting up the rotation states?
use the other eye bones they come with 2 sets

Its the exact same thing, just dont import any sdks.
