Description of Ford Mustang taken from Wikipedia "The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by the Ford Motor Company from April 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang’s styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular and inspired a host of imitators. It was initially introduced as a hardtop and convertible with the fastback version put on sale the following year. At the time of its introduction, the Mustang, sharing its underpinnings with the Falcon, was slotted into a compact car segment."

Best looking American car ever. There is a company today that makes good replicas of the 1969 Mustang, it goes for over $200,000... This kind of tells you something about the unbelievable look and feel of these cars.

Too bad Ford did not have the Mach I in the commercial decked out with rear louvers, front and rear spoilers. I guess they just wanted to show consumers the basic vehicle?

Imagine all these cars were in the $3-$4k price range at the time. I remember them well as I worked at a Ford dealer in 69-70. What a great time.

This was cool, bring back the station wagon, so much more practical than a crossover, practical, all these cars were beautiful, what a beautiful period of time, can we bring it back. No crap electric cars, no self start or key fobs, or big touch screens in the cars just decent styling performance, and thoght out innovation.

The best part about these old Fords is that there's no stupid EcoBoost engines in they're at all just all NA 6 cylinders and NA V8s.
