Mike, I absolutely love this song! The instrumentation on this track is great, but what has always attracted me to this song are Amy's vocals. From the emotional inflections of the verses, to the harmonies of the chorus....Amy's voice soars! Nice reaction, bro. 🤘😉

There's another bonus track from this album that I think you should check out. The song is called Disappear. It is so damn good. You should see the studio version and the live version. The live version is one of the best things they have ever done live (I recommend the live version from Paramount, Huntington, NY, 2016). Trust me, you won't regret It.

Her music talent has quite a large toolbox to it. She'll layer it in, and it just works is the best way to say it. Out of the blue a harp. Which on a metal(ish) band would seem out of place. But here is just fixes in like it should.

On the current tour, they perform End of the Dream. I don't think you've reacted to that song. The original studio version is rock, and there is a completely different Synthesis version. On this tour, the beginning of the song is the Synthesis version, and then they switch to the rock version. You should check out both versions before your show this weekend. 😃
I secon this so much, please PLEASE do a End Of the Dream special, with the 3 versions in it. The studio one, the synthesis version and the new 2021 live version which is like the best mix of both versions but taken to the next level!

But that being said I'm reacting to all the songs on the setlists for both before Sunday, so hang in there with me! I just had to drop this one for my man GUEV because I missed his request from back when I started reacting to music
I really love this song, the moment I heard the beggining I became a fan of it, if you listen to Swamped by Lacuna Coil it has like this similar vibe on the beggining, still this song's lyric applied to much in my life back then when it was released. I love the bridge, everyone got to know that harp part with the "freedom" part as a snippet several months prior to the album release. So fans were very much awaiting on this song since that harp part was something that was talked about in every ev fanpage, when the standard version came out tons of people thought this was scrapped, but then the deluxe version came out and everyone was happy to have it. When Jen Majura came into the band, they started doing it live since she helped doing the vocal melody from the start as Amy starts singing the rest.

For the setlist songs, “end of the dream” they are doing the synthesis version for the first verse and chorus before going into the original on this tour so I’d suggest reacting to those 2 versions back to back In a video… end of the dream was also an early fav of mine from that album…. most of the songs on the setlist I believe u have reacted to already with the exception of a few - unless u are not familiar with all the singles. “imaginary” is a great non single song too that’s on the setlist so hopefully u react to that soon too lol -- be well!

EV3 (Self titled album) is my favorite album by FAR. The bonus tracks from EV3 are masterpieces. Disappear (especially live) is probably my favorite EV song of all time, you should definitely watch the 2016 NY performance of Disappear.
