“What you said” 😂❤ is another term that I associate with Memphis Ten
I did not know it was so hard to understand us 😂 but thinking about it our words mean a lot
Yall got the cutest accent ong LMBOOO- Along with Baltimore -Nola are the best to me
They were partially right on green 😂 green can be used in so many different situations
“Mane” and “Junt” the two main Memphis words were left off. Also “Green” when I was growing up meant naive, gullible, not street smart.
I'm a born and raised Memphian. No one says slaw anymore. I said that in high school like 20 years ago. Flaugin is the old word for the new age Capn. I've never heard of Pluck though, lol. I mean I am getting old, but I know my 20 year old nephew is familiar. These young folks have twisted the original meaning for Green though.
Who cares?
True. But this was my first time hearing "Jap". Ain't it mane!!?
